Agreed Barry, Haven v Mitcham and Pooraka v Lutheran, who's the next best behind PAOC. If portland lose, very hard from there. Pulteney v Paoc, this game could see how good Paoc are or how even the division is. One thing certain the Jets to go down Div 5.

i would have to agree with you barry, if the Jets do happen to get up this could throw a few more teams into the realagation section!

i have not seen any of the portland games this year but i have noticed that their back line has been struggling. so far all three opponents so far have had forwards kick over 8 goals. can someone from portland tell me how the plan to remidy this problem?

People are sick of Portland, nobody really cares about their backline. Easy remedy though - backman beat their opponents 8)

Some talk on other clubs, please !!!

Sensible question, so i will answer.

2 S. Hughes at Portland - Shaun Hughes, ex-Seaton, didnt play at all last week, but did play rounds 1 & 2
and Sean Hughes, younger bloke, plays B grade

Round 4 Tips In CAPATILS,

Unley v FITZROY by 60pts & Big Karvy to find that form from last season & kick a bag of 10!
NTH HAVEN v Mitcham by 24pts good luck with coaching Wattsy & all the best to OB with where ever he ends up!
Pooraka v ADELAIDE LUTHERN by 2pts think this will be closer than everyone thinks!
Pultney v POAC by 30pts will anyone get near the Reds this year? For Div4 i hope so!
Cbcoc v PORTLAND by 12pts Port to break their drought but wont be a happy place down at the Port if they go 0-4 though!

(if the Jets do the un-thinkable though like some of say, it will make things very interesting in the Lions Den next week)

Good Luck for Round 4 Boys & Go U Roys!!!

Boys bit disappointing to see Unley C'grade forfit this weeks game again as its unfortunate for them & really very disappointing for their opposition each time it happens as the Punky Roosters C'grade boys were shattered down at the club last night when they were told they didnt have a game this week as they as much as anyone enjoy running around having a kick with their mates week in week out so i do hope Jets can turn things around with numbers down there & get a side on the park each week for the C'grades competitions best interests!

hey felch b4 xmas, word around the port was that your coach from last year got the flick and the new appointment was only because he was a mate of someone who is high on your board or has a fair bit to say ( maybe someone who puts in a lot of $$$$$ ) any truth. is he a good mate of someone high and mighty there?

Another hard faught win for Haven boys, slowly but surely beginnig to click out there. Trainings are well attended, great feeling from what I've seen. The lads should be commended for dealing with the loss of a senior coach and footy director and still winning games. they seemed to play with a huge amount of young fellas (19 OR YOUNGER) and they slotted in perfectly, great mix and all 21 players contributed. Best for Haven: Forrest, Dempsey, Duerdin, Lil Hood, Big Hood, Rowlands. Also worth mentioning Watts was dominant all round the ground and Cox gave real drive off the wing.

A few of u boys seemed to know a bit more about Unley than we did as the Jets arent that bad a side as their scores have been as they came out & rolled us so this now makes things a little bit interesting now with 3 or 4 teams locked on 1 win a piece at the bottom of the ladder with Portland also getting their first win! Think its back to the drawing board for our A grade as the weekends round was a bit of a reality check & wake up call as we have only beaten the side above us by 1pt & lost 3 games now with 2 of them to the only 2 sides under us! Is only early days but could be a long season '08!

Portland are the most under achieved club ever to play in the Amature League
Watched them the other week against Nth haven and sorry felch their A grade side is crap
I agree with playing kids and developing the club but find some kids who can play, and maybe a coach who has some idea on what to do in a match winning situation, mind you their coaching appointments have never been great,
Russell Evans - Too good to coach A4 footy
Brenton Klabe - sacked after 3 games
Gavin Crack - Won a flag in a 2 sided competition
Greaham McInerney - Crap
Paul Marshall - great player, couldnt coach
Darren Hams - why did PAMFC get rid of him?
Current Coach - Crap
This club will be in A7 before to long
Dudley "Booger" Dawson: Did you get in her pants?
Gilbert Lowe: She's not that kind of a girl, Booger.
Dudley "Booger" Dawson: Why, does she have a penis?
