Dont worry about Phos, we are going about it very nicely, some might have wrote us off, but we have a strong side and should do well, signs were not that good when we played seaton in a trial, but we proved we have what it takes to go up!! we started strong lets hope we continue good form!

Now tell me Phosman, with PHOS sitting pretty in 2nd position, who do you know that has written them off?

I dont rekon anyone has written them off, more like just gone under the radar. Little has been said especially on this thread. Have they recruited surely the weed has bought some players with him. They had some quality b graders the last 2 years we have played them but they have been really young. have these players stood up or are imports playing a key part in the early success....

Maybe written off was the wrong word, under the radar yes, all the talk has been about Modbury, Uni and the raggies, but the weed has the boys flying, as long as the form stays up it should be a interesting finish to the season!! Modbury will be the biggest Test in round 7. any news on Modbury's recruits, sports beat pump them up a fair bit!!

Phosman seems as though you may be getting ahead of yourself; not sure the Edwardstown boys would be too happy to hear that PHOS are gearing up for Round 7 Vs Modbury - you can add SMOSH & Scotch to that group - all three are capable - slowdown phosman we have just rolled into May & you are getting carried away with finals talk...

As for news on Modbury - most posts on this thread are about Modbury!! Vassall, Gunning & Dutschke are their main three additions - personally I rate Gunning as the stand out; he is more damaging as he gets a lot of his ball forward of centre... [& uses it real well]

yes vassal, gunning and dutschke have been good a young undersized ruckman has also been good. fowards yet to fire as vandeveld has been injured and garfoot been away etc. so when they get going should be interesting.

Can confirm that Ben Gordon is not playing for the Raggies this week, or Mt Lofty.

I believe there was a meeting held last night to discuss the Gordon situation. Can you confirm the outcome of the meeting blublurag? It sounds as though his clearance was refused...correct?

wow....that's a tough call. Fair enough to not make it easy for the bloke but surely they wouldn't refuse to clear him all year...surely. What purpose would it serve?

Few questions for phosman - what were the bad signs against Seaton in the trial? Did Phos lose by much? And which players has the improvement come from since that game?

The midfield has really stepped it up!!! The seaton comment comes from a very close sourse to the ramblers, he said phos may struggle because, from the news from seaton was, was that they were going into div 1 with a side they thought would be weaker than the one from div 2!!! all credit to seaton for being competive so far in div 1, and we are also doing alright in both grades, the b's has a slight problem against athelstone, which appear to be a well drilled unit!

Sorry just clarifying, so the midfield was the problem against Seaton? Thrashed out of the middle, thrashed by ten goals?
