I beleive he couldnt commit fully to the club so it was a mutual decision that he handed the job over.

Yes ouzo i guess going out of your way to say it after the game isnt good but i still dont think its that bad either. i have heard all good reports from his players at portland which is a big difference to last year.
I only know what people have told me that are playing with him, i never heard of him getting suspended. you seem to know alot about him have you had much to do with him in the past at other clubs?

He didnt go out of his way to say it, the Haven guy actually came over to him to 'show him the scoreboard' and copped the comment himself.Theres alot to be said about being a good winner aswell. The words were exchanged right in front our coaches box. There seems to be alot of 'half-truths' being told on here. I was right there, seen everything. As i said before, move on. The comment obviously had an impact. It made one of his own come out and name him, and then try to make a joke of it - which im sure he will do again. I know how i would feel about a team-mate who 'sherked' though, no matter what i 'openly' said. Loss of respect springs to mind.

Here's a thought, whats worse, sherking an issue on the field, or telling a bloke he did ? Everyone knows the answer - first one 1000 times worse.

Onto something else, and this is not a stir. I was told this yesterday by what i consider a reliable source. He told me that Haven and OB parted ways last Tuesday night - is that true ? Also, he mentioned that one of the reasons both parties went seperate ways is because of an incident in round 2, involving someone in your A grade getting dragged by the coach, and then spitting the dummy and getting changed. This player happened to be a relative (son ?) of a committee member, who the coach hasnt been seeing eye-to-eye with for sometime. Words were exchanged, and this was the straw that broke the camels back. Like i said, i was told this second/third hand, but i do respect the source.

Maybe the moral of this story is dont throw crap at others, when your own backyard is full of sh!t aswell.

Felch, your respected source has lost all respect. We have gone over the coach issue, it was a mutual thing, OB was and is very well liked at the North Haven Football Club ask anyone from the club you won't get a bad word about the bloke. Your right about a bloke walking off and getting changed against Adelaide Lutheran in the last quarter and thats where any correlation between you and correct end. The player involved has some discipline issues, obviously and has been punished by the leadership group accordingly. I can assure you that he is in no way related to any committee member in fact i'm not even sure that he would even know one single committee member besides the president and 90% of them wouldn't know him.

I am no longer discussing the Portland Coach, I took the stance that abusing players after the siren is being a bad sport, the popular belief is that I am incorrect and I accept this decision. I appreciate you respecting my decision.

yes and it would of been bad sportsmanship if the north haven player hadnt of gone upto the coach pointing at the score board. what felch is saying is that you have to look at both sides of the story before coming on here and bad mouthing a person defending himself.

Fair enough, like i said, i was TOLD this. You have to admit, he wasnt far off the mark, an incident did happen obviously. Maybe he just put 2 and 2 together and got 5 !!!

I was actually just trying to show an example of how 'half truths' and assumptions can lead to the facts being distorted. Get where im coming from ?

If we both keep to the facts, then we should be right. Fair deal ?

I respect your view, but both of our opinions are going to slightly biased opposite ways.

I will have to take you word on the pointing at the scoreboard honestly myself and several otherplayers were there and didn't see any of that until the coach had a crack, the issue is dead, I will only acknowledge glowing praise for Portlands coach from now on, anything regarding any of the previously mention incidents which are clearly figments of the 40 or 50 witnesses imagination, will be ingored. To demonstrate my commitment to this I have dispatched a courier to North Havens Money Vault hidden in the Swiss Alps to get me some funds in order for North Haven to get him on board. I expect a deal to be done by friday morning unless Chelsea come in with a bigger bid.

Speaking of money, and this is suppose to be a serious question, i know your ex-coach's employer was a major sponsor - is their promised sponsorship affected ? I can think of one of your players inparticular who could/would be concerned about any cash flow issues...

Not sure about the player thing or if you know more than me but I wouldn't know any of that stuff. Our major sponsors are the finest sheep skins company in the world, Global Skins and Brice Metals, first for steel. They have been for years and will continue to be. Besides OB is still very much a member of the North Haven Football Club.
