would imagine his summary would be brief and inaccurate. A bit like his game and kicking on Sat.
But should certainly make for a closely contested year. Good for the comp.

Pinnaroo were too good on Saturday for Murrayville. Cleaner skills, harder running in the midfield and finished off their chances better than the Bulldogs.

Pinnaroo were up by about a goal at quarter time and half time, with the margin not getting more than 2 goals any time in the first half. Murrayville came out after half time and kicked 1 6 to 0 0 in the first 15 minutes but lost some momentum and the scores were level at 3/4 time. Pinnaroo dominated the clearances in the last quarter and ran out the game much better than Murrayville.

From Murrayville's point of view we looked a bit short of a run, not having played a trial match, and if we'd converted better in the third quarter it could've been a different story.

Thoughts on this week's round boys?

BDT would be smarting after a loss I would think.
As would Murrayville.

Lameroo should have no probs with the Maggies I'd think.

How is the ankle Brock? Hope it is not too bad. Be disappointing to see you miss too much football.

DW this weeks games should create more confusion to the season. Murrayville will be missing a few (both the crane boys)due to a wedding, possibly Brock Landers? we'll let him answer to that. They are playing Karoonda on their wide expansive ground which has never been a happy hunting ground for the bulldogs, let alone many other sides.
You would think that BDT with a number of players back in after a wedding last week would bounce back against Pinnaroo.
Peake will get a real chance to show if they have improved against Lameroo, although you would think the hawks should win.
All up it amounts to the possibility of a close season.

The ankle has come up better than I expected Dreamer. Probably as a result of staying off the bevvies Saturday night! I'm hoping to play this week but will test it out late this week. Plenty of wading at the beach in the meantime!

The Doggies will have to improve to knock off Karoonda this week, especially with a few possible outs. We have better depth this year and will be a lot better for the run, I think we should take it up to the Maggies this week.

Heard a whisper that Peake are now minus about four of their recruits..
Apparently after the first game, when they played Karoonda, that they could not handle the physical nature of our competition, and that they would not be back.
Considering they had played Karoonda, who I would consider the least physical side getting around in the league, you would wonder if they had come straight out of under 12s or something???
Maybe they could have come up with a better excuse, you would have thought.
Maybe we should just take it as a compliment to the competitiveness of our league.

ANother interesting week is upon us.

You would think that the winners would be
Pinnaroo over Peake
Lameroo over Karoonda
BDT over Murrayville

Could be very hard for the Dogs to find a win just yet. Hard to come back from 0 and 3

Dreamer your name suits you. Frithy has to work most saturdays now and wont be able to travel. Vanders and Mickey Wilson are two very tough players. Maybe get your facts right champ. Mickey is still up at peake.

Round 3: Who is going to win this week?

My tips in bold:

BDT v Murrayville. in the upset of the round. Murrayville to improve with 5 key players in this week 1-10
Peake v Pinnaroo. should be pushed by an improved Peake on Peake's home deck 10-20
Lameroo v Karoonda. should have too much depth for Karoonda, who will be competitive. 40-50
