Why not accept the challenge of shutting someone down? You play for a team, for footy mates, for the win and every role given is crucial. At the end of the day who cares if you didn't have twenty touches if the end result was your tag being pivotal in your teams victory.

The poor blokes just wanted to play footy and tagging blokes only works if the rest of the team can match their opponents as well. If you're getting smashed all over the ground, what good is a tag going to do anyway?

Or pivotal in your teams 154 point loss...

Three, eh? I reckon Pearce was the only one with a tag on him for the day. And players were not given specific instruction to forget about the ball, they were asked to be accountable.
Don't patronise my mates either, they are all out there to win, which begins by having the belief you can win. Nobody in that club would spit the dummy over being given any particular role.

Yeah he was, but there was three over the course of the game.
Well, your runner came out and said specifically that one of your players was not to worry about the ball, just watch the player. Maybe i heard wrong though...
I never said that anyone spat the dummy
