he use to run off a half back flank he is a very good player but why play in the D grade? i just dont understand his reasons apart from just taken the easy way out IMO.

sorry cw , when did i call you a wanker(if you find it show me). if the umpiring was bad , it prob was me, not related , it WAS me..The Crabwalker wrote:gothebombers wrote:your right, but he may start bragging about beating sum one or even just beating up himself, maybe one of the crap sides. oh hold on flinders are one of those sides....what are the odds going from PREMIERS(in a c grade comp) to wooden spooners.
You sad man get a life and crabs are not the same team as last year.
Who said the crabs would win a flag this year I didn't.
As for the loss against Angle vale they played very well on the day
So they take it and move on shame u can’t do the same and u call me a wanker who is the real wanker here.
Hopefully the crabs will have a better showing next time when players are not on holidays.
I’m sure Angle vale may even upset a few top sides as they play more games together as they put on a good display in the wet. Must say I was impressed with their game on the day.
To the umpiring, It was worst I’ve ever seen and as for the guy in the hat. I feel sorry for any team Uni or college that get this D/H.He gave the Uni guys nothing all day he would have cost Uni at least 7-8 goals on the day but still not enough to win the game hopefully Uni made a report about this D/H so they never get him again.
(To the gothebombers I sure he must be related to u as he hated Uni to with such a s--t umpiring display)

A lot of people associated with the FU footy club are sick and tired of your rantings and pi$$weak excuses that you post on this forum. You are making the club look like a bunch of whingers. Do your club a favour and open the other eye when watching games. Even if the umpires were blatantly biased towards Angle Vale on the weekend, it would not make 90 points difference to the score.
You dont even know what i was talking about as you dont play at the club anymore so how can u say anything.
I wasn't making excuses on the loss or piss weak excuses as u say i was talking to one person who cans Uni ever week given the chance and the guys who let thier team mates down this week. So get the facts right as u are not associated in the club anymore.Yes Angle vale and Paralowie were to good for Uni and played some good footy & i watch most games with one eye.

You obviously think that you know who I am. I have never played a game for the Crabs, I'm just going on what players who are playing this year have said to me. Maybe you have too much time on your hands this year seeing as you've been sacked from the coaching panel. The Crabwalker wrote:I wasn't making excuses on the loss or piss weak excuses
You come on here complaining about the umpires after a 90 point loss. All that does is make the people who read this forum think that Flinders Uni are a mob of whingers. No matter how bad the umpires are, if a team is good enough they'll win on the day.

and also a lot of edits. any reason

There are 8 teams, the A's (Div 2), B's (Div 2R) and C's (Div 7) are the top 3 teams internally and are comprised completely of players that want to play as high as they can (ie comparable to all other Football clubs in philosophy). However, of the other 5 teams, C2 is basically comprised of students from Adelaide University's Roseworthy Campus (The Farmers), whilst the remaining 4 teams (Div 7R, C1, C4 & C5 - generally regarded as the bottom team in the club, called The Scum) are effectively their own self-sufficient groups of friends playing under another mate who 'coaches' the team. In other words, Legrand's team Div 7R is not the D grade as you would understand it, it is simply the grade his team plays in (mainly because they want to play early games and also play at main University Oval). For example, if they wanted to play late games, or play at Park 10 (Uni's 2nd Oval), they would swap grades with another team, get it?
Hope this clears things up a bit, and although Legrand played 3 games as asked in the Uni's A's last year (Div 1) to try to help the club avoid its first ever relegation, he only continues to play to be with his mates. No-one at Uni gets paid, he doesn't chase money, and due to the way the lower grades are structured as explained above, there are about 10 to 15 other players along with him that could easily play A's or B's if they wanted to.
