Yes was at the game and score prob closer than game showed. roos much better, and bad kicking for goal but tuff conditions. Think they should keep a bit of a lid on it but... People talking finals already!? Been solid improvent for sure but the tests to come. As for the sharks fitness has to be a worry! 4-5 blokes more than a little overweight and most looked run off there feet. Not saying they havent improved but maybe not as much as 1st thought.? Fitness is 1 thing coaches have some control over and forward line looked a little heavy.

Went and saw Cove for the first time in the season proper against Reynella and they were terrific. Had they kicked straight they would of won by 10 goals. Considering it was wet and miserable that would of been a BIG win. There midfield was equal to Reynella's and considering Reynalla had Moore Butcher Prescott and co Cove have done really well as the players in Cove's midfield isn't as well known as other clubs except for Vick and Reavill. Ramsey at CHF would of taken 16 marks and just killed Reynella all day whilst Cove's defence was hard at it and gave Reynella nothing.
Reynella rely heavily on Butcher, Moore Prescott and McKeough interesting to see how they go againt the Emus this week

A good crowd on Anzac day with the emus in the end convincing winners. brayden bayly winning the medal for best afield.

Interesting to see Cove do it so easily. Did Reynella look underdone or were Cove just that much better in the conditions? Also heard that a high-profile player and the coach may not have been seeing eye to eye on the day, any signs of this Jono?

Not that I noticed Chucks however, i will say i felt Milo maybe should of had a go up on the ball cos he was left at full forward pretty well all game and had lack of opportunities.
Cove played the conditions a lot smarter and looked a lot faster and they had a forward that was taking marks and presenting, Reynella just kept breaking down whenever they went forward. Dry day i can't see ther result changing except maybe Cove kicking better and winning by ten.
As for Size didn't play Saturday due to a knee but he won a lot of fans week earlier.

ZC i wasnt there but heard that this new Butcher bloke and the coach had some sort of altercation during the game? Which would be odd as i was under the impression that no-one at Reynella really knew Butcher and he was brought there entirely by the coach?

But fairplay, thats a great result by the Cobras, i certainly didnt (kurt) tippett. Looking forward to Emus v Reynella this Sunday!

I would've thought the "snake" would be more than happy what Brighton have done for him, he was playing C grade at Morphett Vale and they have given him an A grade career...

Interesting call, Know him well haven't heard anything. Has he been playing A grade in trials and first round? Thats the only thing I would think of if he isn't getting a gig in the A grade anymore?

He was named in the Boot as playing in the 1's...

Snake did not play in the 1's or 2's for Brighton this weekend

I heard during the week that young Bode from Morphett Vale is not playing footy at the moment because of the pressure he is getting. I believe that AFL clubs are pressuring him and also perhaps South Adelaide. Apparantly all this kid wants to do is play footy with his mates - well let's him.

I hope the above that I heard is not true, however if it is, I feel sorry for the lad and I hope the pressure will be dropped of and he can get back to play footy.

Bodey hardly missed a pre-season training then decided he wanted to play with his age group only a fortnight ago, he's playing footy which is the main thing, an exceptional talent.
