I am led to believe that South were looking for a change in all areas on field. Change their guernsey, captain, a few new players, young kids coming through etc...entering a new era or something.

I wouldnt have thought Bevis did anything wrong - the guy is a quality footballer and when fully fit is almost unstoppable...

My other tips,

I would think with the new look South and Barossa coming off a draw that would be the game of the round.
barossa will win to save face.

Some interesting results coming from round 2...

Centrals beating Freeling by a point, Angaston still yet to lose a game, South beating Barossa...

Barossa look like they could be in a bit of trouble going into their bye this week....winless! who would have thought!

Good to hear! he was complaining about his groin last week, must've held up ok. I'm hoping to get out and see him in action soon.

I was lucky enough to see the South/Barossa game Mav and it was a day out for the guys named Aaron. Both Bayliss & Bevis had 30 touches each and terrorised the Bulldogs midfield from the opening bounce. Great character building win for the Lions which should get some chins wagging around the league this week.

Barossa Districts have major cash flow issues which has seen some players not payed since last year . Make of it what you will but buying premierships looks good on individuals CV's but leaves clubs in uneasy and uncompromising positions .

The Barossa Bulldogs will be back to there usual cellar dwellars tag in 2008 .

Apparently Coombs was pivotal in getting the lions across the line... reports are that he hasn't been training the house down, however Coombs always seems to find the pill regardless of his engine size...

David Coombs played a blinder too, he doesn't need fitness and never has he still finds the ball 30 times each week.

Speakign of tips BP19, this weeks games are...

South Gawler V Nuriootpa
Angaston V Gawler Centrals
Freeling V Kapunda
Tanunda V Willaston

Few tough ones here with the Ango/Centralas and Freeling/Bombers game to go either way. I would expect Tanunda to beat Willaston (not easily though) and South should account for Nuri

My tips for this week are South Gawler, Gawler Centrals, Kapunda and Tanunda (just)....

BP19 - you seem to know a lot about South Gawler... how is my old mate Johnny Benson going?

I think he plays (or played) B grade BP19...

Does this mean you have no interest whatsoever in the remainder of the grades, notwithstanding the A grade?
