CC I cant confirm that Rupert was there but I was at the game and in the bar at Broadies at half time talking to a few Broadies and Gepps guys but no sign of Fnut.He may well of been there but if so chose not to introduce himself.Happy to get the points in a very average game imo.

CC unforunately had to work on Sat. and got to game just before three quarter time. Suprised at how well we wre going to be honest but last quarter was very dissapointing. If we can learn to play four quarters we will be ok. To Gepps credit they were very good in last quarter. They have a very big side and look hard to match up on. Gaza vs Gepps should be a good game but I fancy our chances against TTG who lost to Seaton.

What you think T T Gully's going to be easy because Seaton beat them?
How much did TTG beat Rostrevor by last week?
You may have a chance of beating Rostrevor yes.

Well done to Tank and the Seaton boys in having there first win of the season and the first Div 1 win for Tank. I am sure alot of people would have thought they may go winless this year, but to chalk up win 1 in Round 2 is a great effort. Good to see Coardy, Wanders and Knuckles standing up when needed.

Seaton boys looking like a real giant killer, unlucky not to be 2-0 after a close lost to Gaza in round 1. Who do they play this weekend?

Huge result for Ramblers on the weekend. Tank has done extrememly well to turn thigns aorund in the last month or two of the pre-season.

Rossies are supposedly terrible this year. Be very suprised if they stay up.

Well Districts played well considering their team on sat, Peucker was a late withdrawal. So not a bad result. Perry looked a bit out of sorts. Maddern, Smitham, Peucker and Assouad should be back this week which gives them a bit of grunt. Peucker maybe another week away. They need a win early to keep in touch with the other teams. Clarke may miss a few with injury which will be a massive loss. And yes i didnt think Henley were all that impressive against Districts. They may have been missing a few too.

They did have 6 out, they wern't that impressive but they beat Pt Dist.
Pt Dist have to stop using injuries as an excuse, we all get them, if you don't have depth you will struggle with the first sign of injuries, it looks like the depth isn't too good at Dist with their Bs being pumped by 20+ goals.
Henley have the best depth by far, their Bs pumped Dist & Sali Nth.
They deserve favourtism at this early stage.

Seaton have certainly put the mockers on alot of punters out there after 2 rounds, a good win and a close second the week before against Gaza. Will certainly have the opposition sides wondering where their predicted 20+ goal wins againsts them will now come from.
Districts i hope............ :D

Well i was told Goodwood had quite a few out as well, about 4 or 5 of their top players, like what was said before, injuries will happen, its what your depth is like.

Great effort today by Seaton going down by 4pts, they had alot of opportunities to win the game but like they say, bad kicking is bad footy.
Seaton will be better for the experience in Div1 & with alot of newcomers into the side from last year, i believe they'll gain alot of confidence out of that game which should hold them in good stead for the rest of the year,
As for Henley, from what i've seen their (over- rated), a side that has so much experience as far as SANFL players but are not making the most of it & probably expecting things to just happen for them.
They controlled alot of the game but when Seaton got a sniff, they took it up to them & put doubt's in their mind & had them pannicking.
3 games they've won by under a kick vertually, for what they have spent, you'd expect them to be winning by alot more than that.

Gaza got up today too. About 8 points I think. Some periods of good play but the game was marred by short kicks missing targets. ANother controversial hit, this time on Toby Bowman. I can't believe Gaza's full forward is only 19! Gaza also get the gong for most ferals at a game.

Drove past Broadview Oval this afternoon and I figure it was about half way through the last quarter but the score was TTG 19:12 to Broad 2:11 so unless there was some divine intervention I'd say there were a few blokes and a coach wondering where and how they might get the chance to sing the club song this year.

Broadview suck! Players that don't suck are Pete Smith and the two Gepps ruckmen. Smith is absolute class and the ruckmen are big boys. Player's that do suck are Gaza's ruckman and Gepp's fullback.

Broadviews history tells you that they don't suck.Funny to see how the most consistant club in SA footy over the past 25 years has alot of people waiting for the opportunity to bag them.......

Sorry, I'll qualify my post. Broadview, while not sucking for the previous 24 years, suck this year.

I like Broadview mate, doesn't change the fact that they suck. CLubs with poor B grades are always in danger of going for a slide. Broadies Bs have sucked for a while.
