I know this was on the last page and the issue is a bit dead but I've kept quiet on this but I can't sit here and listen to the b*llsh*t that snake_eyes is coming up with. I played last saturday for North Haven and I thought the game was played in good spirits and was under the impression that the adel lutheran boys were not bad blokes. They were well looked after in what are very good facilities (particularly compared to the rubbish at PAOC) were given beer vouchers and welcomed into our club. Unfortunately a bloke copped a reckless high tackle that could happen a hundred times and you walk away from it 99 of them. I feel sorry for this bloke and hope he makes a full recovery. But I'm not going to put up with this d*ckhead snake_eyes attacking the players and the club on this website. I'm sure that you have worn out your welcome at our club and I look forward to playing Adelaide Lutheran next time more than any other match this season I can guarantee the margin will be a lot more reflective of our dominance in the game and I hope that we increase the physical side of our game accordingly. See you on the 28th of June.

Hmm maybe another post to print out and send to Tynte St warning them that individuals from a club may want to stretch the boundaries of law 19.2 when they play a certain club.....

Ouzo might want to self moderate this post and change it or even better retract it all together, as you are declaring intent to increase the physical side of your game which is much more serious than reckless or negligent physical contact. This website will not tolerate being used as a vehicle to warn other clubs of an "increase [in] the physical side of our game"
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Why can't you increase the physical side of your game? Tackiling, bumps etc. are all legit. How is increasing the physical side of your game against the rules? Although your post makes little sense, I believe that you are trying to point out that an intentional breach of the rules is more serious than a negligent or reckless breach. However, ouzo never mentioned breaking the rules at all. If you are saying that he infered that by saying they would increase the physical side of the game, that is a very tenuous connection.

Moderate yourself!

Big Shrek, this site will not be used as a vehicle for individuals to imply or infer increase the physical side of their game towards other teams especially following a contentious incident that occured last week. We didn't come down in the last shower....

Footballers say that they will try and hurt eachother within the rules all the time. He was saying that. It doesn't infer there will be any more incidents outside the rules especially when everyone has been denying that it was a reportable offence.

You are acting like a silly too big for his boots umpire who is trying to infer there is something untoward to assert his own authority.

for a second i thought i was reading something to do with touch footy or maybe modified rules. Footy is a physical sport. Nothing wrong with that so long as within the rules.

Well done to Haven lads yesterday! A real character building victory! Jake Watts, superb leader of the club and it was good to see a physical encounter within the rules. No player from either side whinged about the other side being dirty, game was played in great spirits. It is true that alot of bullshit whinging comes from college sides, so it was great to watch two CLUBS go at it.
Cox, Dempsey, Forest, Rowlands, Hinsley, Big Hood & Little Hood best for Haven. Good to see the Senior and Junior players playing well. Good signs.
