If Burgess (Westies and Broadview A1) and Ellis (PHOS Camden) are only 1 point instead of the additional 3 then Strath are going to be under, but if they are the extra 6 they would be sitting on the maximum 32. What they have now is room for another 2 players by thier calcualtions. It is important Saints and Myponga continue thier stand.

Anzac Day, Night game,Traditional rivals,Strath "playing" with the rules and a big crowd, could be the game of the minor round.
Dont worry about Saints and Myponga continuing their stand, Creeks need to make a stand tomorrow night.

I think strath will get up by about 5 goal. Will be interesting to see what the premiership table looks like in the next few weeks.

i think you will find that if the GSFL looks at straths points of the players concerned they will be over their allocated 32 . As of today still no resonse from big kev on the issue which is baffling at best due to teams suiting up for round three , I can tell you something kappres that if it was the saints breaking the points then all hell would break loose and the club would be delt with straight away .

Great game tonight with strath getting up by 10 goals

So clearly the points system has been bought in and now is to hard for Kev to police so he turns a blind eye to the first problem that rises up! If he is not going to return calls regaurding the situation a rep from the Saints or Myponga should attend the game tomorrow night and ask the question. Kevin will be their because by the sounds of it he has jumped on the roosters ban wagon in 08!
If blind eye's are going to happen we could see clubs throwing some big money around in the next week or two to gain those couple extra players we would all love to be able to fit in!

You are right s m, Sants would be persecuted and everyone would be shooting their mouths off saying how disorganised Saints are. This is a big issue and has to be addressed and at the moment it is the League that is looking the joke as Strath are ruling what is going on.
Round 3 - Strath to defeat Creek by 4 goals, Yank by 2 goals, Bays by 1 point, Victor by five goals and Willunga by 15 goals. What is the tip on Ryan's bag against Saints and who will stand him?

Steve Ryan to kick 6. Who knows who will stand him, but what a good challenge. If he kicks a bag its expected and if you keep him to 4 or 5 you will be a hero!!

Does anyone know about the rumour of the martin twins out at Enc Bay training? Apparently Owen Love has got them involved at the bays. I think they would still be eligible for senior colts, they have with the port maggies 17s

If there isn't a stand out player that will definitely take him then I think you could be in trouble I'm tipping 10+.

I think the score line for the Willunga V Saints match will look a little like this:

Willunga 23-17-155 Saints 7-6-48

Ryan with 4 goals, Hams 7, Portlock 4

Just a wild guess

Lets hope Strath kick straight "tonight" or it will be a low scoring affair
Yeah the Saints would cop a lot of stick if they were the club concerned, similar to how there were questions asked a few years ago about the salary cap.

Poor form to pick against your own side TC.
Maybe with wet conditions forecast you could be on the money.
What round do you think Willunga will manufacture their first loss in?

Very good limb. No just the round - they will drop maybe one or two this year for sure -
for instance you cant tell me that their loss to the Bays last year wasn't a little bit expected by the Demons heirachy.

News to hand from the Goolwa Dawn Service, sorry to harp on about this issue.

Strathalbyn officially played with 32 points in round 1 and only declared 26. According to the rules his is a $1000 fine and loss of premieship points.

Currans quote to Saints club officials was "We will let it go this time" to which the reply was "do all clubs get the same opportunity?" It seems as though Strath will get away with it. What would have happened if they were over the points?
