Yeah they were good mate, forward line is very dangerous with Hanson, Flynn, Chenoweth, as well as Clutton, Rebbeck, Goodwin etc rotating through there, hard to stop them all on the one day I think...

How'd you see the game?

Boozehound, I have been speaking to a certain ginga who played on Donnelly on Saturday. He wasn't very impressed. Apparently Donnelly thinks he is pretty strong but isn't, likes to send backchatting messages to the coach and just has a general attitude problem.

Burglar, I hear you are right about Donnelly running through people. Apparently Eastern Park were taking cheap shots at people all day and the umpires were too intimidated to do anything.

I hope Eastern Park learns that they have to pay more attention to playing football and less to intimidating people. Once they leave the tribal atmosphere of their home ground they are left lacking in several areas and this is why they are div 3 specialists. Until they change their ways we'll be uncomfortable playing at Eastern Park, but won't worry about them come finals time.

Very even first half, but Para Hills played some of the best footy ive seen for a while in that third quarter. Hanson had a quiet day but still managed 7. I think some of your boys need to forget about young Power and concentrate on playing footy.

I know you are just stirring the pot BS (how appropriate are those intials) so I will take wat you say with a grain of salt.

The "ginga" you mentioned did a good job and only had a couple kicked on him....He also had about two inches on Donnelly. ginga was done everytime on the lead but won the aerial contest.

There was nothing, and I mean nothing dirty or cheap about the way the boys went about it on saturday just good hard physical footy. It is good to hear you are uncomfortable about playing at EP though, that brings a smile to my face as it will the rest of the boys....

He is also the assistant coach and regularly sends messages to the coach but they have a fantastic relationship and respect for eachother. It is good to see you will under estimate us away from home and in finals, that should work out nicely for us......

How's that for a response Shreck?

Good response BH. Just don't tell the Ginga that he is only two inches taller than you though, he'll get upset. He likes to think he is taller than he is.

I have heard differently about whether it was physical or cheap. I think EP has a different idea of those concepts compared to everyone else.

Alright maybe three inches.

Those who confuse what happened on saturday for anything other than good hard footy are soft and that is my honest response

EP have beaten both Old Iggies and Walkerville who at the start of the year were tipped to be around the mark this year. 9 goals down at quarter time in the past and EP would have definitely tried to fight (as would any other team) but what they showed on saturday is a testament to the club and truly shows that they are heading in the right direction! i too thought at quarter time that things might get ugly!

i must say that as EP started to gain ascendancy a few walkerville players tried to intimidate the boys but to their credit just got on with the job and the result speaks for itself! wins like that builds massive character and can really set up your season and i think it may have made a couple of clubs (shrek) sit up and take notice that EP are the real deal this year and not just there to unsettle teams with dirty tactics!
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

From the weekends results... Kevin Smyth is definitely the man to shut down in Salisbury's line-up.

EP training from when to when on Thursday night?
Many stay back for a drink?

Am probly training with Elizabeth on Thursday night but thought I might call in on EP on the way home seeing as I'll be staying in Craigmore.

as your good self would know DW thursday's generally short and sharp - finish about 7ish. Most of the guys stay around for a while. I will be there later so might catch you then...

Aiming for this to be my fly-in weekend to see some Igs action. Sounds like we have a job ahead of us after a poor start so far.
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.
