Hello everyone, im new to this but is very interesting reading all your posts to keep updated on whats happening in Div4, i play in the Maggoo's down old Fitzroy way & would like to hear any news from any of the Ressies games from each round?

1st round we lost at home to Portland by a few goals, we were disappointing but have alot of new players & is taking a little bit longer than 1st thought to gel but credit to Portland as they ran hard & held us at bay all day with their ruckman who had a huge leap giving their onballers 1st opportunity & they double our centre clearances so they will be hard to beat.

2nd round we had the opportuntity to play away on thebarton oval & WOW what an awesome experience as it truely is a great place to play footy so if any team gets a chance to play there jump at it as u wont be disappointed, oh about the game what a difference a week can be in footy as we only just managed to scrape over the line against Cbcoc by tune of 12 goals & still we have room for improvement scary! Cbcoc no'16 for them played a good game & reads it well out of the middle & around the contests but besides him & their captain no others really stood out for them in the game against us.
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

Haven were ok, they weren't as good as they were talked about earlier in the forum, their skills are not that polished, and there forwards are not that good.

We (lutherans) just ran out of legs in the last quarter, one bloke was concussed from a rather 'interesting' tackle, and was stretchered off, the other was our captain received a 'flying punch' tackle to the jaw, ALLEDGEDLY from M. Cox. He is out for 6 months. We had two other go down with hamstrings/groin injuries, so we didnt have a full team on the park. However, playing under lights was fantastic, i recommened that it happens more often, if the facilities at the ground can handle it!!

Looking forward to CBCOC this week, and hopefully with a few key in's, we will come away victorious!!

I didn't think Marc Cox had that in him, he's always come across as a fair player that needs to show a bit more sh!t in himself.

Poor Shiny wasn't looking too good when I went in to see him, the poor bloke had no idea where he was, what happened and couldn't remember anything from breakfast onwards.

Is everything ok with him now Snake Eyes?

I don't reckon it was Cox that hit him, it was right in front of me.. not that Im going to enter into discussion as to who it actually was though

'INTERESTING TACKLE' your a tit snake eyes. he pined his arms in a more than fair tackle & the F N Lutherans player unfortunatly hit his head on the turf! Wasnt Marc Cox who put the skipper out of action either. You cant use injuries for an excuse every team has them and will get them pretty sure the team you were up against finished the game with out a bench too.

interested in the thoughts of my peers on this one....

we found out at the end of the game (C grade), that the umpire was also the coach of their side... is this just wrong or what?
