Sounds like excuses to me

Excuses? Who's making excuses? Do you know any blokes who like playing footy but have no aspirations to play A Grade?

People who are good enough play As. People who aren't play Bs. Sounds like viewed objectively he would be a fringe A grader this year who can't take the hit to his 1000 goal ego of being dropped so he'll take the safe option and not put himself in that position.

That isnt actually correct. "People who are good enough play As. People who aren't play Bs. Could be many different reasons but not everyone wants to play A grade footy.

People who are good enough generally get talked into playing As. I'm sure there are rare exceptions, but I'd put money on that Smid isn't one of them.

Well it's pretty obvious that you are just looking for an arguement so there's no point me continuing this dicussion. If Brett Smid wanted to play A Grade he would. I just had a look on the SAAFL website and he was the leading goal scorer in A3 last year, 8 goals clear of Whenan from Athelstone and 31 goals clear of the third placed Moran. Flinders Park's leading goal scorer was Kieran Johnson with 36 (10th).

Generally the case in regards to people who are good enough being talked into playing it . I have known people myself included that could have played higher levels week in week out. Cant speak for all of them but I know that I felt it playing higher up was more like a job and I only ever wanted to play footy cause I love the game.

Thank you... People reach a point in their career where playing A Grade is not the be all and end all, they just want to go out there and have fun

I'd think Kilburn at this stage mate, not that Flinders Park have done anything for people not to tip them.

Shaun Gatto from Eastern Park is a big shot as is Adrian Wilson....

A full forward win the medal? Not a great chance, especially if Fuller keeps dobbing more than him. Wilson would be my early pick.

Kluey will spend most of his time on a hff not at Full forward.....Will float around the forward line hoping he is not kept accountable as usual....

E/Park 16.16 112 Def Walkerville 14.3 87
great game of footy, Walkerville up by 55pts at quarter time, thought it was over by qrt time but Parks just lifted and kept them to 4 goals for the last 3 qtr's.
They looked like they sh#*t themselves when pressure was put on them, some very solid tackles from Parks i think put the wind up them a bit.

Very interesting round of footy....really rate Walkeys when they are up and going however would have got caught holding the ball fifteeen times when the pressure was really on. Very big side with some talented little onballers. Henderson gives them plenty off the half back line....one to watch for the other teams.

Kilburn v Flinders, wat was the sccop re that game??

Para Hills look like they might go ok?

Iggies done by Woody South :o :o :o
