Rangers for me. Hmmm, notice the old nemesis Montreal are in.

Does anyone know if this is on Foxtel? So far we've caught a few highlights during the season and that's been by accident when we've stumbled across it.

I was in Montreal over a week ago after they won a play-off and it was crazy in the streets. Apparently yesterday after their win to get to the 2nd round of teh play-offs it turned into a complete riot in the streets. 16 cars were torched!
Imagine if they lost! :roll:

Teams do that when they are a goal or two down as it gives them an extra attacker(skater). This occurs in the final 1-2 minutes of the game and the reasoning behind it is that with the extra skater (6 skaters opposed to 5 and a goalie) it gives the trailing team a better chance to get a goal or two.
They're not going get that goal playing five-on-five hockey so they have nothing to lose if they look losing anyway.

Matchup for the Conference Semi Finals are.
Eastern Conference;
Montreal Canadiens v Philadelphia Flyers & Pittsburgh Penguins v New York Rangers.
Western Conference;
Detroit Red Wings v Colorado Avalanche & San Jose Sharks v Dallas Stars.

The 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs and 1975 New York Islanders are the
only NHL teams to come back from a 3-0 deficit to win the series.
