For Morphy parks an eight goal win is like minning a pot of gold

The only people laughing will be the mini colts who watch who could play better than both pathetic sides in this encounter.

Cry me a river mate

u talk crap, all these other sides keep this comp going mate it would be good to see the comp more even, so the less fortunate clubs have to improve and thats wat is happenin down at Morphy Parks. So why dont u get behind a club that has struggled for a while and help them make an improvement. It is only going to improve the comp!!

You weren't one of those dopey pricks yelling out something about Porties as you drove past were you?

No i didn't yell out anything. Just stopped for a minute to have a look. There looked to be a few young guys out which would be encouraging.

Morphies Magic you've certainly come out with some outlandish statements and predictions about your beloved Twisties (the team, not me) but i couldnt agree more with your last one. Good news to hear Morphie Park on the improve, and good to hear some big numbers at training for the Lions. Roll on Round 1!

So Shrek who did you play for in your time in the SFL then? And more importantly what AFL club do you play for now?

I don't think anyone here would knock a team for improving but some of your comments are comical at best. I don't know how many cracking games end up with 8 goal margins of course theres a few exceptions but the last quarter tends to have the sting out of it with that kind of result. Maybe get the results on the field before predicting "big" wins.

yeah Mannion will be up forward this year, so Teddy will be free to roam both ends of the park, i can't really say that for Mckee he'll struggle to leave the goal square from what i hear, unless it is to run to the canteen.

Ouch, cop that ZC!

Hung up the boots but still with a keen interest in the league - thought about being an umpire ZC? Or will you be moving straight in to a coaching capacity?

Retired ZC...?? Body is not what it used to be hey..?? Nice querry about the umpiring role CT..

On a serious note i heard over the weekend the reason why we didn't have official umpires for our trial with Porties was because they were all umpriing in the GSFL and that each week the A grade will have an official umpire and the home club has to provide the second umpire... If this is true that is unbelievable... Umpiring stocks must be in a diabolical state... On a personal note and serious one some of the recently retired players who will take up the slack from each club seem to have a better understanding of the rules anyway... Having said that this is not a good position at all for the league...

If only you could double your kicks that easily Mex, you'd average 2 a game.

I didn't realise this thread was for current players, my apologies.

Seems like you guys just talk amongst yourselves anyway, why don't you just swap email addresses?

Looks like umpire numbers are a huge problem this year, do you think its time that the umpire panel gets rid of GSFL and just does SFL. I could be wrong but I dont think that many umpires in the panel come from down that way
