Graham Cornes' spectacular playing style was one of the reasons I started barracking for the Bays.

IMO was a superior player to both his sons. And very tough for his size.(skinny)
Having said that both Chad & Kane are fantastic players.

Studley may have had his face rubbed in the mud at Norwood in 74. (which I agree was pretty funny)
But my favourite memory was in 77 when he kicked a goal after the siren at Norwood to give the Tigers the win.
He was chaired from the ground on players and fans shoulders. Absolute golden memory.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

Some of my earliest memories of SANFL involve Cornes. This was 80/81/82 when Port, Glenelg, Norwood were the big three and while I hated the Bays and Legs with a passion I did admire guys like Cornes and Aish because they were just magic to watch... but then we had 10-15 players of that class so it was more like "yeah, they'd probably get a run with us"...

I don't know how they would have forced their way past Ian Bradmore or Alan Gill.
