If these so called Adelaide based players are only training once a week at Jervois, surely when making a commitment to the club they're told to train back in Adelaide with a club the other night, Sam should also phone the clubs regularly for comformation of there attendances, if they don't train they play Bs.

I think you misunderstood me NM... I was saying that some of the Adelaide based Jervois players (who train twice a week) were looking at playing for the Imps because their adelaide based players only train once! :finga:

imps have no points left for their a grade this year. :? :?
although their b grade team are quite the social bunch and look/sound like they enjoy the a grade games as much or more than the players.... :partyman: :drinkers: :partyman:

I've heard a couple of results, Jervois won convincingly against TB, game was competitive for first half though.

Ramblers by about 8 goals over Mypo.

The most interesting part of the round is probably the fact that the margins weren't as high as possibly expected.

I think its fair to say that Ramblers are performing above expectations, and Mannum below expectations.

I would say a little bit of both probably TC. A couple of players didn't play much of the second half and last quarter in particular due to injury or soreness. But to TB's credit they fought hard all game.

I personally didn't play as well as I wanted, but you get those games. As long as the coach is happy and you get the win that's all that matters. Both players were key position players and I went down forward for a bit of a rest but after they kicked about 3 straight to start the 4th I was pushed back into the middle pretty quickly.

IT will be a lot harder then just talk .They will have to find another 15 goals to get there

I couldn't really comment on that just yet, but could be closer after I see Ramblers next week. They seem to be playing well early on. I know Mypolonga have been talked about a lot pre season due to some of their new players, yet Ramblers took care of them on Saturday. Did anyone see that game? Were Ramblers that good or Mypo just not quite playing as a team just yet? I know Button has been mentioned as a key player for Ramblers and they still have Morris up there in the forward line kicking goals for them. Very potent forward line by all accounts.

Yep Ramblers has a great squad on paper, and their forward line looks very potent, and Gerardi is still to come back i think. I'm just guessing but i reckon Ramblers may play Button on the ball or maybe at CHB, given who else they have to play in their forward line.

I'm surprised some Tailem people think they will make the top 3, the club will be striving for a top 5 position, but Mannum and Mypo will presumably be favourites for 4th and 5th, with the MB clubs and Jervois likely to fill top 3 positions. TB does have have a few new quality players though so if they can gel quick they could challenge a few sides.

Certainly does look to be the most even competition for quite a few years though.

One other thing, good to see the quarter by quarter scores for all grades on the RMFL website already.
