do all Carlton supporters have this mindset?

It is quite funny listening to you (SJABC) because you don't care if you lose anymore, its just a regular thing.........

It actually really f***s me off.
In all honesty, I love the Blues, but Glenelg is where it's at for me and always has been.
I have been lucky to see a Carlton premiership in the flesh (95), and I can see a bright
future. The list is young and will get there in a couple of years. Finances are good as are
membership number/sponsorship dollars etc. If this part of the club was lacking also then
it really would give me the shits.

Better to laugh off adversity, then let it **** me over.....

Still gardening. But I do looooove it when a mate rocks up unknolwingly and is forced to help out and finish off. Repaid with copious amounts of beer, pizza and some very nice red wine.

Also possible in the parking meter stash in my 12 year old Audi, but I'd tell them to forget it anyway at those prices - I can go 2 or 3 hours without food or drink when the principle of not being ripped off matters. 8)

The neighbour and mates binging on lager and buckfast yet again (they did it Friday too) with the usual blokeish yelling and shouting that goes with it. Then at 0345 starting what sounded like a game of 'torture the retard til he screams like a girl'   They finally stfu at 0700.

Thats why we have tended to live on a small acreage most of the time - so we are not too near neighbours. A distance of about 500 metres [0.8 of a mile] from the nearest house was good when we had 20 acres, but we are closer than that now. I am not sure what we are going to do while staying in the UK - rent in an upmarket village like Harrogate perhaps?

I looked at a house on about 300 acres near Jindabyne [in the Snowy Mountains] longingly, while we were driving through the area last week.

People who make false assumptions and then go on and on about it despite being set straight and having a resolution in place already.

Agreed - and my rate still has another 12 months to go before it isn't fixed. Christ knows what ANZ are up to, but they're running out of time to fix it (14 days and counting).

Let me guess - you're with ING bank? I got the same letter in the post last night  :axe:

What really rubs the salt in is the fact that while the letter arrived on the 16th, it was dated the 11th, and claimed the new interest rate took effect on the 4th. Somehow I don't think interest rate cuts will also be applied retrospectively...
