After LeArse throwing everything at us for the past 2 games at Emirates and achieving draws, I am confident we can do them 2-0.

Got $28.00 on them to win at $2.40

Liverpool v Arsenal

Latest, Sammy Hypie equalises 1 - 1 after 39 minutes.

Up until 30 minute mark it has been all Arsenal. Suddenly all Liverpool. What a difference a goal makes.

Outstanding game. I bet there are a LOT of smashed TV's across the UK after first the Adebayor goal, then the penalty.

Still looking good for a Man U v Liverpool final IMO.

Chelski were less than impressive against Fenerbache, but still managed to progress with a 2-0 on the night. A couple of great efforts were denied by Hilario after coming on for Cuducini. Chavski could be in strife if Cech isn't ready for 2 weeks time.

It will be Liverpool v Chavski with the first leg at Anfield in 2 weeks.

Happy with the result.
Arsenal dominated 1st 30mins but were average in the 2nd half.
Gerrard on the left wing!
Great goal by Torres and Babel showed why he will eventually be played as a striker.
Electric atmosphere at Anfield.
A BIG F*CK oFF to Craig Foster who said it was a Chelsea/Liverpool semi final 30 secs before the delayed telecast was about to start........FFS SBS.......

OH WHEN THE REDS .....

No finger nails left, I picked the wrong week to quit smoking, and I still got nervous watching the game a second time on SBS ... Shades of Olypiakos in 2005!! :D

I better win some more money in my Sportsbet account so I can keep punting against us.

Agree with your call on Babel Smithy ... He was so raw when we pickde him up, but he's already surpassed first year expectations, and there's several more in the league winning reserves to come through, the futures so bright, I gotta wear 8)

Good game of football, I was surprised to see so many goals.

Interesting that Liverpool were given what appeared to be a weak penalty this morning, yet Kuyt's grab last week was missed by the ref. I guess that is sport... I would not be happy if I was a Gooner though.

Whilst not admitting it was correct, I can see how Babel's penalty was given today, certainly looked suspect to the naked eye in real time - I've certainly seen worse given.

The real problem comes from the penalty not given in the first game, which was a pretty blatant foul in the box.

I thought Liverpool were deserved winners today.

Liverpool looked alot tighter.
Smithy I'd agree with the F**K off Foster...he is a Dickhead !!
Can't stand anything he says...
That goal by Torres was a beauty, although shocking defending played a part...
How good was the run for Le Arse's second ?
Adebayor should've nailed a couple more too...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but will this be the first time in the past 19 matches where
the Pool will have to play the second leg away ?
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

The defending by Senderos was A-League standard, terrible for both goals.

Walcott's run was brilliant, good call in that it was similar to Owen's vs the Argies. Surprised Theo didn't start the game.

I'm not sure Jabber, but I don't recall us playign 2nd Leg away in recent memory ... Maybe Juventus in 2005 was the last time?

Walcott's run was superb indeed, and yep AdeBuysFords should have scored at least one maybe 2 others.

Funny given his pre-match comments of knowing what to expect at Anfield in a CL match, having played in the Carling Cup finals there ... Welcome to the real world son!

Juventus was the last one, you are currently on a long winning run when it comes to ties where you have played the second leg home... Chelsea are in some decent form as well so it will be interesting.
