I know for a fact that quite a few of the Jervois boys are interested in signing with Imperials next season as the Adelaide based players only train once a week...

I can't see why they couldn't run out the game on sat if they train twice, maybe they need to train 3 times a week!

The players train twice a week every week unless they have a solid excuse!

Unless you know something i dont.

If these so called Adelaide based players are only training once a week at Jervois, surely when making a commitment to the club they're told to train back in Adelaide with a club the other night, Sam should also phone the clubs regularly for comformation of there attendances, if they don't train they play Bs.

I'm only asking the question Hills, gathered by the last qtr lapse on sat i thought it was a reasonable question to ask, don't you think?

If they had a solid excuse, do they make that session up?

i dont think fitness is the reason why we drew the game. we just didnt play four 1/4's of footy.
just like imperials didnt run out the GF last year! We made some poor decisions and panicked (???) to much. This could have been because there wasnt enough voice and support.

We are fit.

All the Adelaide based players train together in adelaide once a week. Of which we get good numbers, with only a few missing the training due to work commitments.

Round 2, anyone want to make some selections..

My tips:

Jervois v Tailem Bend - Jervois 91+

Mannum v Meningie - Mannum 91+

Mypolonga v Ramblers - Ramblers 21 points.

Likely to be a one sided round with only Mypo/Ramblers game to go either way, but Chooks should win with too much overall strength around the ground.

Surely he would be the best ruckman in the RMFL even if unfit, I only say this as there wouldn't be a ruckman in the RMFL that'd match him pound for pound??

and being that it is your first post on this forum TC, and you have only just joined, you dont really have that much credability?
can you back up this info with some facts or what?
do you know lindsay or the pedlar boys?

I know Joe and Paul and quite a few others, fair point about my freshness on the forum however I've been around longer than some think...

Just look'n outside in Hill's, it would seem that Jervois didn't have the gas in the last qtr on sat.
So it might be the little things you need to work on. I heard Sammy called a recovery session on Sunday?? listening to you i have know doubt that everyone attended?
As its these little things that will probably get you over the line next time.

I think Jervios ran out of legs purely because it was only their second hit out 4 the year. Other trials were attempted to be organised but they fell through. One 6qtr game is hardly ideal b4 you have a grand final re match. Training cant prepare you 4 the hits your body takes on sat. Signs were very good 4 the Bluds.

They have a very good spine, Bailey will kick alot of goals in 08 and they move the ball well under pressure. Hard to say who else will be a bigger threat than Imps as ive only seen one game. Imps remind me of Mt Compass(07) in the Gsfl.

claiming that a gun x-league ruckman is going to play in the RMFL as your first post on the forum, why wouldnt it be questioned??
but anyway, play on...

I have no doubt the sign's are good for the bluds, they proved that by being 5 goals up 3qtr time.
You right their wow, two trial games aint enough & it showed it had a bit to do with the last qtr fade out.

I think you misunderstood me NM... I was saying that some of the Adelaide based Jervois players (who train twice a week) were looking at playing for the Imps because their adelaide based players only train once! :finga:
