How are Uraidla shaping up this year? Have them in a trial this weekend at Willunga.

Loffler, Richards, Sutherland all still up there?

I heard Walsh fed Marshall all day.... Same thing happened two years ago when they were at Seaton. Walsh should be putting his hand out for some of Marshalls $500 a game...

The C grade competition has the potential to be very lop sided this season. Blackwoods C grade which played in the Central Division B grade made the GF in 2007. The standard of C grade last year was pretty ordinary and generally consisted of old blokes and co-ords with the odd standout player or two. If Blackwood even field a side half as good as last years they are going to win every game by a streak.

I heard Carlo Manno was playing for Ironbank this year? Have they played any trials yet and if so how has he played? A big beast of a man...

They played Victor on Saturday. Carlo got a lot of the ball but could not kick straight 1 goal 6 or 7 I think.

Technically blackwoods C grade will be made up of there last years 3rds & 4ths. Both of these made the B grade grand final in country and central division. By the looks of it, there are going to be quite a few blokes not getting a game of footy after playing in a GF last year.

Just noticed on the fixture, blackwood have a nice draw, never play away 2 weeks in a row!

IB play at home once in 2 months! (may 17th-july19th)

Anyway, round 5 is interesting
Rnd 5 May 10

Rivalry Round

Mt.Lofty v Blackwood

Hahndorf v Bridgewater

Ironbonk v Mt.Barker

Birdwood v Lobethal

Uraidla Districts v Onka Valley

It will be a good round of footy, but I would of thought rivals would be-

Lofty-Bridgy
Blackwood-Ironbank
Loby- Birdwood
Onkas-Uraidla
Mt Barker- Handorf

Did notice that Banker. Tough stretch of away footy for IB. Any reason for this??

And Some weird match ups for the rivalry round. Don't know if any of them are even rivalries. Wasnt aware IBs rivalry was with the furthest club away Mt Barker.

Don't know about Blackwood killing the C grade comp. I know the IB will be very strong with around 80 players appearing on the track at one point or another this year. Alot of new quality B graders which will push some of last years Bs into the Cs. So i dont know if Blackwood will have it all its own way.

Big Mannos took some strong marks. The kicking was a little astray as mentioned but I'm sure that will be fixed.

i think u will find ted that by the time finals came around in the central div last year blackwoods b grade (which is normally there country a grade )were mostly playing in the central bs (which is normally there c grade )this made a bit of difference when the played i/bank in the prelim even though the only won by a couple of goals but then lofty still touched them up in the gf ..i do agree they should dominate the c grade comp tho as you say there will be a few missing a game but i think there b grade will be very competive but wont dominate as u think ...teams such as lofty and ironbank will take it right up to them :D
