That comment he made about Tyrrell a couple of years ago was gold.

Na the one I'm talking about is when he said:
"We're looking for players for next season, anyone interested can ask the bloke on the Barmera table that looks like Rob from Big Brother!"

Waik v Imps trial very even, with Waik getting up by a kick or so. Both clubs had a player in the SA side at Footy Park and a few others out too no doubt. Returning players Venning and Progereki looked good and should slot nicely back into the gaps from the loss of Oliver and Dubrich who have headed to Moonta. Expect Roo to cover the loss of Plant and i'd say the Pies will be in similar nick as last year.

On the subject of Jimmy Plant, great to see him get a game first up for the Sturt 1's. By all reports he won't be heading back to the Pies this year! Westies must be asking themselves how they missed that one!

Shane Williams coming from Edwardstown to East Murray kicked 32 goals in SAAFL Under 18's in 2007 including 2 bags of 7.

This would suggest he has a bit of quality about him and would also suggest East Murray have not only retained their travelling 'College Kids' but added to them.

moorook battled against trinity something or other....
couldnt get enough numbers to the game, 19 including presidentto other sides 33 (no they didnt want us to have any of theirs), 40 degrees, hard oval, up against a side that had been training since late november. too big, too strong, too fast. moorook really struggled

Trinity Old Scolars. Where did you play em' crushy? We played em' last year, same thing happened, we rocked up with 25 or so, they had 35 plus!! All young, ran all over us. And it was six quarters!

played em at gawler. they are a pretty handy side with alot to choose from.
very deceptive too i might add, some of the blokes you look at are 5'8" and not really looking too fit but they have amazing skills and seemed to run all day.

Paringa has dropped off in the past year.
Made consecutive grand finals in 05/06.
Will be a very tall, strong side from what I saw last night.
Not a lot of running players.
