After that 1978 Grand Final result and the history between the Oateys, Buntons, Warks etc. let's agree to disagree.

Please adjudicate my old mate, REB. :)

Haha, no need to say sorry, the Port/Norwood rivalry is 10 times stronger, even Port/Sturt, then theres Glenelg/North, 4 GF's in the last 35 years..

The Norwood/Sturt rivalry wouldn't rate in the top 5.

Norwood/Sturt is a fair rivalry among Legs fans (and Sturts I'd imagine), but IMHO GWW is correct and nothing compares to Norwood v Port.

I hate Sturt more than other sporting team in the world, even the English Cricket Team!
Just something about their supporters rubs me the wrong way -
"Well played number 10" or "Go you lovely blue boys" really pi664s me off!

Yeah, their fickleness is really annoying. Perhaps if they too had AFL avatars on a SA Footy forum they would be true fans like you noble Legs.

Oh well, sorry about that old chap! Let's hope those lovely well bred lads from Unley way put on a good show against your fine, well drilled* red and blue chums from the Parade, wot?
I will have the fingers crossed that number 3 and 42 give it the old college try, touch wood, wot? And hope we can contain old wotsisname, you know, that scallywag who plays near the square white line thing that goes around the middle of the ground. Wot?

Young Gieschen to play for the Legs tomorrow night. Go Legs, even if I can't be watching or hearing it.
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

Rarely can I recall Round 1 being as important for my club as tomorrow's game is ... Sturt will be around the money this season regardless of the result I reckon, but our boys will require a little planetary alignment to be a finals contender this year and you would think that would require a favourable result tomorrow night.
