Was this known to be happening or has he backflipped on the club? Any good as a player?

Very handy player hasnt been seen at modbury this year and will be a considerable loss.

Seaton think he is a thug which isnt a case but will do well there quick and skillful

I think the lad can play footy yet he lets himself down with undiscipline acts.
So Blues08, you condone his acts of stupidity on the field?
He obviously displays the same sort of actions off the field, maybe he needs a mentallity overhaul!

Dont condone it at all

It was a Undisciplined act!!! not acts!!! he may have thrown one but through out the year was in our best players more than not. how often do you do something on the field and then think i maybe shouldnt have done that unfortunately someone got a hurt and it wasnt acceptable.

as far as a player he is worth having in your team which was what the orig question was

That fits in with what I heard from a couple of districts lads- 6-8 missing, but best picked otherwise.

ANy news on Pembroke or SHOC's? Have heard absolutely nothing.

SMOSH have a trial against Salisbury at the delightful Salisbury Oval (no pisstake here at all - great oval)

And in very good nick even for our standards at the moment mate, cricket pitch is still a bit hard but the rain this week should soften it up. In as good a nick as it will be all season come Saturday I think.

Think Pembroke will be pretty similar to last season, have a few very handy players. SHOC's have lost a lot of their better players who have gone overseas/interstate or having a crack at league clubs.

Can't see why you SMOSH people are pumping each others tyres up, talk'n premierships as early as October last year for season 2008.
Pt Districts with all the players they had missing still smashed them by plenty, what would they have done at full strength?
It was a far weaker side than Districts put on the park in Div2 last year.
Pt Dist will do well in Div1 this year, it won't be no test!

Haven't Pembroke picked up Will Paley from Sturt? I did hear that he was offered BIG money by Blackwood in the Hills but decided to go to Pembroke. Anyone confirm?

He's an onballer with the ability to kick a lot of goals while forward to the point Sturt started playing him as a permanent forward in the ressies.

Do you have an idea No Mercy??
One of my close mates plays at Smosh and he was disgusted with how the trial was handled. From what He has told me Smosh played composite sides with a mixture of A B C and D graders. Port District played there best side available. What do you expect the result to be.
Come on C grade player was standing puecker at full back.
He has never talked smosh up as being a flag contender. I think smosh know how hard it is going to be for them this year and div 2 is very even. They will be around the mark either just in finals or just out.

Yes they are and they also brought with them a bloke called Josh Dutschke who played with them for Maitland in their winning grand final-all three were good contributors and Ben Gunning won the Mail medal for the Yorke Peninsula

Districts thought that smosh would play there better players for the first 3-4 qtrs as districts did and then introduce the B and c graders and guys that just wanted and needed the extra run. Not sure why smosh didnt do that, thats how Delaney was told to do it.
