A lot of younger players, who like to run hard.

They've lost 4 players to Williaston from last year

I'm not sure who those four players are, but it seems some players concerned about their positions are leaving the club to play elsewhere or not at all.
Last season's success and the fact it's proven to be more than a fly by night situation means more graduates are choosing to play Old Scholars footy rather than elsewhere.
So I've been told anyway.

Are you talking about the Elizabeth trial that they lost by 20 goals??

Nope, not that trial.
They played a very understrength Moorook-Kingston. I wasn't able to head down there for it.

So would you still say there much improved on last year if a side one div above them beat them by so much? 20 goals is quite a lot, even if it was only a trial...

Haha, I think he knew they were done for as soon as Laidley got re-appointed. I'll be sure to let him know though.

st pauls will be playing a fair few b graders i would imagine as this is their only trial
if you (hope valley) using only a graders going to be a fair slaughter!
st pauls have lost a few and not 100% sure they have aquired many to replace
hope they go well but just cant see it
should still make top 5 in div 7 i would reckon as there is so many c and d grade sides but dont think they will match it with a top 3 side from div 6 with the outs they have and b graders that will be playing.
might be wrong crusty may play his strongest side

I was told today Lockleys are noe playing at Richmond oval. Not sure why they wouldnt try for Thebarton? I wonder what Amatuer League think of this as they are very keen to play games there.

My understanding is lockleys have a link to west adelaide
eg sister/brother club or juniors
hence why they using that oval
