Fair crack, how many around the state do you get to see. Tumby Bay is always good as is Wangary. You've probably never even heard of Wangary.....
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

Just a figure of speech mate  , but can guarantee they're not as good as mallala mate and yes i am bias. Kosi has been on fire over the summer. I havent seen many but in terms of relevance of this thread i thought id mention it. A top oval needs to be more than green. There are plenty of green ones around, ala Tumby which i have seen recently.

Wangary.. well not a priority stop on the road trip, but maybe there is a reason all these west coasters are heading to Magpie land!!!!!!

Mallala get the Montys and Fitzgeralds, they come from a bit higher up the coast mate. They basically play on stones up their way....

Speaking of ovals I wonder how the League is gonna deal with the likes of Hamley Bridge, Port Wakey and Two Wells ovals.

All three of these looking very ordinary at the moment and a bit uneven. Lochiel isnt being used until after half way mark otherwise this would be the worst of them.

I wonder if or how many of the early rounds will have venue changes due to insurance risks????

Hopefully someone takes some responsibility before the season starts and checks all of these ovals and makes a smart decision. Time will tell !!!!!

Wha!!! HUH!!!!

We at Two Wells have released a press release saying that in early January there was a problem with the sprinklers (not the right time for it i know) it has since been rectified and watering has commenced in late January (Bore Water) it make look a bit dry but it will be good come bounce down, but to compare it to the cow paddocks at Hamley and Wakeys is extreme.

Port Wakefield would be looking as green as ever as the salt bush that covers the oval instead of grass would be thriving. take a good look at the grass there you'll see what i'm talking about. SALTBUSH!
And Hamley, needs re-sodding, Rip it up, and try again, and this time lets get the level right and make it flat.

Haven't seen Virginia, but there oval is always wet even though we are in the middle of a drought, Mallala would be in good nick (if the Swampy says it is, then it is!) Longies would be dry and you wouldn't want to hit the deck or it would be like falling on 80grit sandpaper, or Home brand toilet paper whatever is coarser and Balak would be ok.

But fair suck of the lemon, head cheese! Our change rooms are shit, but our oval is ok, well it was last week when i was squatting out about 200 burpies.

Don't you just love burpies?

I may have been a bit harsh Rooster putting Two Wells oval with Hamley and Wakey, I didn't mean to offend you. I had spoken to a senior two wells official last monday night and he was the one that said the oval wasn't in great nick and it had a few bare patches that were mainly sand. I took his word as gospel that the oval needed some work, but if you've done 200 burpees then I imagine you would have had a real close look at the oval and obviously think its fine.

I have heard among the traps that United are playing a trial this Saturday against one of the Unda's (I think its Eudunda but it may be Tanunda or Kapunda).

Season starts April 12. Bring it on!!!

This time last year he was linked to Willaston (BLGFL) and previously to other A1 clubs. Chris Calyun has already gone from United to Kilburn and were linked as both moving together before.

Wilson didn't play in the GF last year, that was one of the reasons he left the dogs. He spat the dummy, pretty weak IMO

Mallala playing Nuri this week and Berri next week.

Ill keep the pigs out of this one, too close to cricket still :)
On willy, the heirachy certainly have him where they want him, so my bet is that he wont be moving too far this year. Plus he is a gun and United should be doing everything to keep him, which im sure they will and realistically they'd be silly not too. Not sure id want someone who doesnt want to play in my team to be playin in my team

I see Bussy has been cleared to play for some salisbury team too, recently. A big loss

Yeah, willy can play but hasn't really wanted to be there for a while now, my two cents has him leaving!! hows that?

And that Buss is Damien Buss, that's Mini bus, Sean's little brother, if i'm not mistaken he has mates out there and came to us via his brother, a loss yes, but the rest of us get on with it.

Sounds a bit like the dust will be polished of the boots of many of us this week, We have a hit out against Elizabeth on Sat then Crystal brook the following week.

Yeah,

The crime rate at Elizabeth should drop for a little while at least anyways, they'll be FUBU jackets and WU-TANG pants as far as the eye can see, there is some talk that we'll be parking our cars at Craigmore Highscool and Bussing it to the ground to avoid car jacking!!

No I'm sure it will be fine!
Good people at Elizabeth, i've got some good mates out there, Salt of the Earth!
