I would say it's just because there's a bit of a shortage of them and are in high demand. I wouldn't say that they personally go out sourcing the big bucks, rather than being in such high demand clubs are forced to enter a bidding war!

Yep, that was more of what I was eluding to. When I started playing there was the real big blokes like McCully, Mills, Carpenter, Duffield, Drago. There is of shortage of the big animals now!

Nothing better than playing cricket on goolwa , great suface . The bay back a few years ago was another value for shots ground .

What trials have teams got for after the easter break , not much longer and the season kicks off . The strath trial tues night would have been good for the new players to get a feel for their new team mates and the ground , will be a force to recon with the roosters this year , will be great grudge between them and the creeks . strath to get up .

Good on the bloke if he can get a bit more coin , more chance in playing in a flag than at the bay , they wont win a flag in a hurry .

Willunga have Port Noarlunga at Pt Noarlunga on 29th March and Uraidla at Willunga on 5th April.

Couple of good tests to see how they are going especially with a few guys missing for the Port trial game due to other commitments will give us a chance to blood some kids once again and see if they stand up twice in a row.

Be a couple of good games if your playing the kids , great to have the experience players like you have then introduce a few young lads . Great for the club if you can do that .

hey cuzzy is the 20/20 comp still on at the bay next weekend ?

I wouldn't say it was a bidding war, both clubs made an offer and that was that.

i am coaching the Saints juniors and there is this indian kid. All the boys were calling him monkey and asking if he wanted a banana during a goal kicking comp at training. I couldn't stop laughing but I had to put an end to it!!!! Kids are right in to the sledging these days

yeah 20/20 is on at the bay on march 29th. I know there are four teams and the games start at 1.00pm. Night final, i havent got the program yet so cant tell you who the teams are though. Think the club has had some more interest from teams that were cancelled in the loxton cup so the program will most likley change next week before it kicks off
