they a chance to move up one more div or is that a bit ambitious????

they are playing Port disticts on wed night see how that goes. They have had solid numbers on the track.

From all reports i have been getting smosh are travelling ok but probably not in the position to push for div 1. A few good recruits and the ability to hang onto gun onballers Netch alphabet and porplyzia has helped them out. Fraser will help handle the goal kicking problem. Insiders tell me they are predicting 7th to around 4th but in a tough comp its the teams that can grab the close ones which will be finals contenders.

from the names i know that are out there
they are definately capable of playing finals footy!!!
get on board the thunder train!!!

You want to HOPE Fraser will be your Mr fixit up front, i have my doubts, he was in a better side last year in Div2 & was no-where to be seen when up fwd, played better down back.
Overall over-rated.

havnt seen him play much since u16s but is extremely quick. not the best of kicking techniques but think he has improved. hard to tell how he would go in div 2 but would say he would start in As.

Yeha we'r definately relying on fraser. A we're gonna play a one man forward line with a a 11 man defence.

You know, get the whole flying v thing going.

Get the ball to Junior chibba and let him burn past everyone.

I reckon SMOSH will have the two fastest players in div 2.

Will definately be playing.

Word from a mate at PHOS is the weed is ammazingly fit and raring to go. He said they're a young fast and skilful side, lacking a few talls if anything but should finish in the top 3.

If so that pretty bug news, the only reason Golding and co stayed there was because of the coach. Too late for them to get out???

Very weird. Why would you pull the pin so close to the season? Have they been getting many on the track?

U would think the B grade coach would take over.

because its a massive position increase and if he's trying to make a living from the game its a natural step to take.

the effect is very unsettling though - at least being this close to the season all recruiting is probably finished.

it happened in december 2006 at uni when jamie mason left the a grade to take over that role at norwood; meant that tony roach's candidature did not begin until early february with all associated recruiting and training problems that this entailed.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

Not sure if B grade coach would be the obvious choice in this case?
