Did anyone watch the Reynella V Kangarilla match? Apparently Kangy played alright, either or Reynella didn't.

All i have heard is Reynella won comfortably but not by as much as expected. (The guy i spoke to was of his lips at the game so wasn't much of a help)

The game was shortened with the heat & available light. Reynella won comfortably, it wasnt a very inspiring contest.
Milo kicked 6, Prescott 3, J.Farrier would ave got a few aswell.
The above names all played well as did in my opinion Wood, Procter & Morley. A few of the kids that were given the opportunity looked alright but how many A grade games they play in big matches will be interesting at same time.
There was no Sh.Bradshaw, Butcher, Moore, Mensforth.

I've heard Kangarilla's stocks are pretty thin - did it look that way during the trial match? Apparently some have left because of Stringer.

Are we talking about Evans or Stringer or both? Sounds like they both carry a similar reputation.

All footy clubs have certain players that don't LIKE or AGREE with their coach. Evans coached a flag in 2005 and Stinger in 2006. I'm sure 90% of those premiership players would worship them.

Leg Rope, just because a team wins a premiership doesn't mean he has the players respect or the fact they 'worship' him. Sometimes a team just plays and their ability does the talking. Just because a team wins 4 premierships in a row does not guarantee that 92.87% of that team believes they rate the coach highly. They might just have a very good squad who know what to do to get the job done.
I've heard rumblings come out of Morphett Vale on the weekend, but this was a reserve grader so I just put it down to sour grapes whilst drunk. Ive listened to Hill during the breaks on several occassions & I think he does that very well. Maybe he lacks direction & fairness, but I'm not there so I can't comment. The Morphy boys will back Hill 100% on here for the sake of keeping a positive vibe, just as Cove boys will not say a bad word against Ando, and just as 'Fly' will tell everyone that the playing group love the coach & things are bright & rosey at Winefly land. Unfortunately in country & junior/school football, even poor coaches get a premiership title next to their name.
