Cheaper than Houghton, surely not? $4 WE Draughts, $4.50 Coopers Pale? And we only raised the prices two weeks ago.

Anyway, I reckon we'll be drinking a fair bit during both games to boost your sales throughout the day. Your club must be laughing at the draw for that week, you're bound to get a decent turnout.

Then pints of Coopers it'll be :drinkers:

FC, those were our prices, 'operational costs' meant they got jacked up. I voted for it so can't complain.

I've always wondered how we compared, price-wise, to other clubs...

So much crap is put on here, same as when someone said there was only 10 at West Croydon and there have been no numbers on the track blah blah blah. People just make this sh** up for a reaction. Don't believe everything you read.

first training back at hope valley for a while. we had about 50 on the track. there was a nice breeze blowing up there so it wasn't too bad running around

looking forward to having a bit of a hitout with golden grove tomorrow night. NOT looking forward to the 38 degree temperature

(both of those statements are true scorpion, not making them up just to "get a reaction")

for the exact prices of pints at heccies west end on tap is 3.60, pale is 3.90 and all bottle beers are 3.75 which is pretty fair, we pretty lucky that the canteen sells beer downstairs i know with some clubs eg paynhem u can only buy beers in the clubroom

It's not the comments from people who actually witness things first hand I'm having a go at. It's the ones who say 'my girlfriends cousins brothers dogs sisters owners neighbour said they saw.....'.

We had a good hitout with Golden Grove last night considering the conditions. The B grade game was played under a hot sun, but wasn't too bad by the last quarter. Conditions were quite good by the time the A grade game started.

You can do as much training as you want, but there's nothing quite the same as when you take or give that first real hip and shoulder!!
