Just saw a post on the Adelaide Plains Footy League thread that Luke Slattery, ex Port Magpies, has signed with Torrens Valley. If true, this guy will be a superstar in Hills Country this year.

Very true GWW...... and as you stated will be far too good for most opposition players. A couple of other handy recruits will make them odds on faves for a 2 peat

Must be training on his own then..... Wouldn't be letting him train with WCFC while he is registered with another club - not sure anyone would.
I hear he hasn't been training anywhere and may be having a change of heart. Serves him right for jumping and signing for $$$$$ before actually thinking about what it means to bail on his mates and club.[/quote]
Ouch! Nice one.

I think he would have been very handy for meadows had he done some training which he looks to be doing now.
I dont agree they will be struggling still have quality players there plus good juniors coming thru every year, will be playing finals.

Wouldn't write off Meadows, with strong Juniors coming through, they'll be around the mark for some time. Think the 5 could be the same as last year, with possibly Nairne to replace Echunga. Maccy and Callington could be in for lean years, with hopefully Gumeracha big improvers. Country Div shaping up to be a good comp again.
