If it isnt safe to go well fair enough .We did tour England at the height of the IRA troubles though and no-one questioned that.Personally speaking I reckon Sth Africa is one of the most dangerous places to walk the streets unless in an enclave with hired security companies at each end of the street. In the general areas such as shopping centres its horrendous and traffic lights on red well battern down the hatches .

Pfft I'm a balanced individual chips on both shoulders....

And you and I both know that on the scale of the world hotspots ATM Pakistan is up there, only ahve to watch teh SBS world news and read reputible international press to know that. But hey you stick to your Murdoch press.

81 IRA we weren't the targets british industry and leaders were.

Australia whether we like it of not are potential targets in the same way pakistani intellegencia and leaders are ATM.

I'm sure your familiar with the OHS&W Act s 19 and s 21 for the Victorian based CA, employers are liable if placing employees as far as reasonably practcable at risk.

Different world between 1981 and 2008, and hey stop lights in Seth Efrica? I don't think the locals are going to attack a bus with security guards on it that have automatic weapons. So Seth Efrica is reasonably safe for a touring team as it is, ATM, small petty crime (why touring teams stay indoors at night away from Jo'burg central). Apples and oranges 1981 UK and Seth Efrica and PAkistan R&W, I know you are a smart enough person to know that.

If there was a spate of suicide bombings in India in the next few months I bet you the IPL Aussies will still be going.
