My point is just that when they have that much coin, and you're making heaps over the bar/canteen anyway, why charge for a trial game? Have you ever been to a trial game before and been charged entry? If they need more $$$ to cover umpires, footy's etc,(which would be fair enough) just increase the amount charged per team to enter.

Anyway, now i sound like I'm whinging when only attempting to throw it out there.

All good

dashin I don't know about this year but last year entry was by invite and no cost to enter. they incurred costs in buying the cricket pitch rubber mat $5000 etc. Last year for your $2 you also got a program with team lists/club sponsors and club history. good point of discussion though

Nope. Kangy's weak as piss. They have pulled out due to a lack of players. Word is not many on the track and many hate Stringer. Who cares if they get flogged....it's just a trial!

Are they all heading to Uraidla Human Blanket? The caggabe won't be a chance of fitting all players within the points allowed.

Team,

I am new to this site and am wanting all the gossip with the up and coming footy season. Probably wouldn't be too hard to figure out who I am with my user name, but lets just say that I am overseas with all the towel heads in the middle east not looking after an ACL recon and need a way to keep up with the league and especially the mighty Dev's!!

How are all the teams looking?? By the sounds of it, Hahndorf will be strong, Uri's onkas, Ironbank and lofty all up there as well.

Hopefully there is some surprise packets in some of the other sides as it would make for a more even competition!!

Have heard from a number of Kangy's boys that the reason they pulled the pin on the trial was Stringer didnt believe they were "ready" and the lack of numbers comment was merely an excuse to get them out of it.

Well the Devils took out the 20/20 comp they were in down at Happy Valley. Got up by about a goal in a cracking game against Edwardstown. Both teams had plenty of chances, but the solid defensive work of Matty Stapes(BOG) and DK Stevens got the boys over the line. First bit of silverware for the Devils this year, hopefully there's more to come!
