I remember going to watch dad play footy at hisponga. He would say that it was myponga. I would say 'yes dad' yourponga! How dumb are kids!

Your kidding LF, that is very cute. It use to be nobody's Myponga except for the Mudlarks. You couldn't win there in a fit, as they use to have you beaten before a ball was bounced. The conditions were muddy as.

was just thinking the same GWW. would be good to know plus positions
since all the hype of these 2 great teams for us in the different country leagues

Well done to Willunga beating Morphies on the weekend. Interesting to read some of the posts on how willunga were gonna get smashed. Cant wait 4 there excuses.
Hey LF, a few of your boys got a bit ahead of themselves on the weekend, apparently writing premiers 08 on the scorebook and were well beaten by the Myponga Nursing home :oops:

Dont think so WOW! They were obviously dispappointed that they didn't win, but the team didn't start til round 5, so I think they were happy just to make the GF.

Goolwa Very cocky during the final against Willunga, I think they may have rocked up to the GF thinking the trophy was already in the pool room!!!

Yes Kappars we are talking about c grade! i think they were cocky against Willunga beacuse they rolled them for 33 after starting the season late and not training once all year.

Lets hope the footy goes a little better for the demons than the cricket making 33!! :shock:

Any further footy news? Burdett played Friday night and supposedly played first half and was reasonably good according to a guy from South.

Do any sides have trials this weekend? Victor playing Edwardstown at Victor Harbor Oval Saturday i believe.

WoW i hear u were at the game Saturday how did u see it from the sidelines??

For a 1st hitout there were some positive signs for us with some of the younger kids playing some good, solid footy!
