I think Pazz must really like playing against Seaford.
I think it was against them a few years back when he hit 41 from 1 over.

Well done to the mentioned player, you can never knock a bloke making a hundred or in this case a double hundred in any grade but i think that we all know that he his way to good to be playing B grade in the SCA.

I agree Hound, Adam is an A Grade cricketer, but it's just good to see sullies have a side out at the moment rather than disappear.

Good to see Southern giving Tanner a go. I noticed he got a ton in the B grade a few weeks ago. I hope he goes well. Opening the batting is a big ask though. Couldnt believe my eyes when he was on the bowlers list and taking wickets. Cant remember him having a trundle for Porties? I guess there was no room with Nicholas bowling from one end all day :)

He got a 10for in the B's for southern a few games ago.
I told him if he could bat he might be an all rounder :) .

Tanner went alright on the weekend Smithy? Looks like they are pretty keen for him to open. Even chimed in for some economical overs...maybe your taunts about being an all rounder are paying off

Southern were beaten by the Invitation 11!!! Think Southern are trying to make all teams to Bowl underarm at next year's Myer Shield, to give the Southern Team a fair chance, as they are used to facing that sort of stuff.

Not sure on how to improve the Competition, but with the association team, getting beaten by the Invitation Side is an embarrassment to the Southern League. Hills and Torrens Valley have won the between them the last 5 carnivals and always seem to get nearly all the best players from their comps, in their association side. Alexandra and Eastern Hills are now suspending players if they don't make themselves available to the association team. The only whisper I've heard about the Southern Association side, is not all the players are making themselves available because of who's in charge.

Your on the money there Cougar.
The Southern Association side has been nowhere near full strength for the good part of 10 years now because of that very reason.

To the teams that busted their sweaty balls and bowl 75 overs today in the searing heat were greeted with the channel 9 news weather forecast that stated it would be 40 in Adelaide on Sunday.
Heat policy kicks in and no play on Sunday.
Higher minor round placings go through to the GF.
What a great way to decide the competitions "BEST" teams in a summer sport.

I agree smithy, even though the rule helped out my side on sunday. our clubs juniors didn't even get on at all. I know there has to be a cut off somewhere along the line. But the kids are cancelled at 38 degrees. Hardly ever is it 38 by half 11. I think on sunday it was bout 35 at this stage. Rule needs to be looked at, especially for the kids. Start a bit earlier with more drinks breaks perhaps for the seniors?
