Didn't Scudds depart Modbury to Golden Grve for $$$?
Sorry Blue Boy i just thought he may of followed the big man, he sounds like a honest loyal clubman then if he hasn't, good for him & the club as they've lost a few.

scudds left for cash and to escape pressure(tag) that he was slow and lazy..... he will dominate DIV5

the ins more than cover the losses i believe for the hawks this year.....jolly would never leave Modbury $$$$$ isnt a factor at all i dont believe(just a good club man)

Scuddsy is a big out.

Even if he is fat and slow, still good for a Bag reasonbly regularly.

Having said that Hes No Robbie Fraser.

Not at all Darren was a solid performer all year was the best forward against seaton in the final and was playing injured i believe. He would be in the top 5 div 2 forwards

Cricket was his excuse but very little effort was ever made

Both of those guys seem to get talked about a lot on here. Don't mean to bag them but I woudn't even think they were the best forward in each respective team and neither would be amongst the best forwards in the division. I'm sure they're solid A grade players but they're just not stars.

One forward who wasn't talked about much but who I rated very highly was McLaughlin(not sure on the spelling) from SPOC. I think he may have been getting on and might just be helping out they're lower grades know, but he was a very difficult player to match up on.

Tasborski is arguably the best forward in Div 2 at the moment. McGlaughlin and the bloke from Walkerville were good players

Can recall him kicking a bag at Modbury minor round but not in finals against Seaton.

I thought Clancy was SHOCs best forward, how close would you rate him to Tasborski?

Clancy played CHB most of the second half of the year, as did Tasborski play CHB for the first half of the year. Tasborski a lot better kick for goal. Kicked about 50 goals in 9 games when moved up fwd last season.

very good, carry on then

Seriously though, it will be a very open race for a leading goalkicker this year, from memory i think half the blokes in the top 10 goalkickers last year were from Seaton or Districts. Take out Mitchell who came either 2nd or 3rd in the goal kicking and that leaves not many prominent goal kicking forwards from last years comp.

In all seriousness though, Nick Jolly would have to be a fair chance at being in the top 3 goalkickers this year He's got a massive boot on him and at only 18 he's a big boy and now toning up too, he has a fair physical prescence in the forward line. While still inexperienced in some peoples eyes, he is learning from one of the best

Hey Schimma, how serious is Cakebread taking his footy this year. I heard some reports a few weeks back that he may not even play !

I agree, a great little player.
