Port Lincoln.... home of the most millionaires per capita

Postby another grub » Wed Mar 05, 2008 12:27 am

Well here I am off tap in port Lincoln..... WCP has been removed by security. Lost a fortune today and going to have to hit WCP up for another monkey when he wakes up in the morniong....
Beautiful weather over here and the beer is not affected by the trip over here unlike the donkeys I backed today....
The qauddie pool got 8k in it which was quite suprising, I see it jackpoted. You cant take fractional betting with it tho, min 25c. If you could take frac betting I would have got the pool......
Cup day Thursday... chance to get on it and turn the tables and become Lincolns latest millionaire.
Great to see my black curly headed mate from Curly's over here.
Got some good tips for Thursday.... got told Tradesmans Choice is a cert in the Cup and that Coongy handicap winner Reclaim will bolt in over here (DIDNT HANDLE THE DIRT LAST TIME)....

hOW CAN A PICK 4 JACKPOT AND PAY A DIVIE...SEE pL rACE 4 AND 5 RESULTS AND tREB RESULT? MUST HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH FRAC BETTING?

Unless 100% of the dividend is won on the F4, the unwon portion jackpots so part of the pool is paid out and the other part j/pots.

This is crap bcos efectively to have a chance to win the entire pool, you have to bet a $1.00 unit (or 100%)whereas last week it was only $0.25.
On S/tab which also has Flexi Betting the Pool is paid out on a $0.50c unit (50%).

Just another example of Punitab RIPPING OFF the Punters. :butthead: :butthead: :butthead:

Now if I get it ....shouldnt it pay $833 000 for $1 .... and I get my 1% of $8333..... This is bullshit that you have to have it for $1 top get all the pool..... Im sticking to Supertab.....

Been studying the form and talking to people in the know over here and they tell me Gunchase each way tommorow along with Storrm The Beach the win and Crest Of Honour for a place in the last....

AG, I got kicked out of the members bar at the track when we were over there, ffs!
Bloody toffs, all I wanted were a few coldies!
I think McEntee was fielding there, all the bookies were betting 300%!
My mate backed a $6 winner with them, it was $16 on Punitab!
FFS!
DON"T BET WITH THE BOOKS (unless on the nod  )

Was a little bit more competative yesterday with Curly, W Barring'con' and Lillies there......
plus the normal 2 bookies who are as weak as piss and quiver everytime I start walking towards them with my $100 bill.......

Yes 300% sounds about right normally......

Curly did put up $4 Amens Sea   on Tuesday but I smashed it into $2.80..... lost by half head.....FFS... Get my money back on this one tommorow!!!!!!!

The field sizes for Lincoln races today are a joke. The 1st 5 races have the old NTD ( nice try d*&ckhead) You would have thought being the cup carnival that a few more noms would have been received.
I can see the ladies have a $1 ew on something, coming 3rd and going to collect just to be told sorry love but no cigar!!
Grub/WCP, you are the local experts, why the small numbers???

For what its worth Empire Street should run well in the cup.. I know the owners and they are quietly confident. Just needs a cart into the race from the 600m.
