Heard on the radio news this morning, if you can believe it that Symonds may well be charged with offences, firstly for conduct offences under the international cricket code and secondly by the Police for assault. If either of these things occur it is an absolute joke :(

You have to be kidding. Assault  What is this world becoming when there is even the suggestion that Roy could be charged with assault for that. It was just a good hip and shoulder and he could teach a few footy players a thing or two.

There's a meathead about, but I don't reckon it's Roy.

What if the bloke was to charge? Is Roy to just stand and take it. The bloke should be happy the cricket bat wasn't used in self defence.

I agree RR, only reporting what was reported, I have looked at it frame by frame and different angles, elbow tucked in nicely, shoulder in the right position, was just a bit worried about the bat angle, was an absolute purler, I hope we get to see a few dished out like that in the coming season.

And the worst thing about this all as the ever smart Mrs Locky pointed out, is that this bloke will now be all the attention of the media, news services, current affair programmes etc etc, sell his story for thousands and for what, being a pissed yobbo that wanted to show his 3 inches to evryone

I don't know who starts these chinese whispers, but if you guys did a small amount of research, you'd save yourselves a lot of angst....

In a nutshell, Roy won't be charged & CA is not investigating Roy over the incident.

it may be acceptable in your world PAFC- but in mine I would step out the way, and let the security people do their job. A stupid thing to do ( as was the streak) and I maintain he should be punished by the authorities (i have read the article saying he wont be)

You're not a lawyer by any chance are you?
If not, you definitely think like one of the cretins.

It's un-Australian to think Symonds should be charged by anybody.
