2- I don't think he was ready nor did he realise how bad things were, especially in regards to the players leaving- Maybe a reason why he needs extra help??

You say he wasn't ready, i believe that, why go for the job then?
He didn't know how bad things were. It was fine the end of 07.
How longs he been at the club? 4 or so years.
Why have these players left???

Down&Out wrote:Again AF you miss the point- who is his assistant?? and surely there needs to be some more structure than here are names YOU (the coach) go and chase them- even I could give him names!!
You need to get over your importance and what you think I may be doing! I feel sorry for Tank and can just see him being used up in the short term- not the way to treat someone who is well liked and respected in the club, who has done a lot of hard work for the club!!

You are not liking what is happening to Tank or what maybe happening at Seaton. Worried and Feel Sorry for Tank. Not the way to treat people. EASY - ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES SPORT AND GIVE HIM A HAND THEN - YOU BECOME ONE OF HIS ASSISTANTS. EASY AS THAT. So get over your own imortance and you pull your sleeves up and do some work.

Think that Tank has his Assistants and people are helping him. Sure he did not take over in ideal circumstances, everyone can see that. BUT, the end result is he wanted the job. Even Tank conceeded that and wanted the chance. Good on him for having the guts to take it, but im sure Tank is not looking for your sympathy

If you were that worried sunshine - EASY - PITCH IN AND DO SOME WORK YOURSELF AND DONT POINT THE FINGER AT OTHERS TO DO THE WORK. YOU DO SOME INSTEAD OF BEING WORRIED.

Any Pt Districts or Salis West people know anymore about the movements of Francis?
Has he got the $500 he's chasing yet or are they waiting for the "100 club" members to commit & chip in?

Meant so much more in CAPITALS!- just a footy observer- commenting on things I have seen/ heard- been there done that- know how hard it is if you do not have the players or full support!

Read carefully - Tank has the full support of those at Seaton. And dont give me the footy observer bit sport or you would not be refering to him as TANK. If you have been there and done that, give Tank a ring and give him a hand. Give me a PM and I will speak with you and if Tank decides he wants you as a "most valuable" member of his team, he can ring you.

That is dead easy hey. That way you dont have to be sympathetic, tearful, worried or any other adjective to describe your deep and truly sorry nature for Tank or Seaton. Pretty simple really - lots of actions to help Tank and less mischief in trying to either have a go at Tank, or the Seaton Football Club. Roll those sleeves up and help. Come aboard if you are so worried

AF, I sense some stress in your post, you need to be careful or your blood pressure may cause you some health issues.

Seaton obviously have some major issues, my info is that 14 players have left to date. Marschall at 34 years of age getting $7K at Bridgewater (what bollocks is that) and Thomas getting the world at Gawler Central.
Losing more than half a team will make it tough for the Rams, they may not recover from it in just one season.
Big Al looks a very worried man.

Newman, "Father forgive me 'cause i know not how to spell his name or get his age right" . Heaven forbid!
Anything wrong with the rest of the info posted, O' wise one?

Apart from that, it is still crap that a guy that age would be offered $7k for 16 games ($400+ game) You need to get a lot of the footy for that sort of coin. I thought the Raiders heirachy were a bit smarter than that although they threw some money at a couple of 'duds' last season which got them nowhere. (Donnelly et al)

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Newman, if only we were all as wise as you, the world would be a far better place and sights such as this would become non-existant. How do you know that Rupert doesn't have any inside info from that club, or are you just guessing also. Get a life!

Yeah but can someone if AF won't tell me what reasonable level "he's" coached at. "Assistant" coaching on the coat tails of Scott Hodges does not count, all that does is prove nepotism is alive and well in football.

Ok, the personal insults will cease NOW...

A 1 week holiday will be ensued upon those that do not take heed of this warning.

I don't know how many times the mods have to drill in into your skulls but personal insults WILL NOT be tolerated. We all have opinions and are entitled to them. Calling people stupid because their opinion differs from yours or they mispell words is not condusive to a good argument.
It's bloody immature. Now stop it. (please)

Lets get back to talking footy huh?

Marshall is well worth the $400 or so he maybe on, getting plenty of the ball is what he does and as proved last year he can even kick a few through the middle. Bridgewater will be licking their lips at that price (if true)....

Walshy playing at Bridgewater, $1000 a game, no money left in the bank after he signed.
