Dylan Frank clearing to Portland from Encounter Bay. Spent some time with him and Big Day Out and he was with EBs coach and was keen for the upcoming season down at the bays.

Im gonna say a big loss of drive from the midfield as i know the coaches at Willunga rated him.

Why has he left FM?

Wes Bilney will be at the Bays in 08, we just paid for his clearance and he will be signed over in the coming weeks.
Dylan Frank is a different story and for all concerned hope he stays at the Bays.

Yep, we are turning em over mate.
Loving the challenge ahead though thats for sure; the point system will not make it easy for us to replace people as on average a player of 1pt going out is worth 3pts coming in. We are blessed with some very good juniors however who will make a genuine impact and as I said prior to this locals will need to stand up and be counted.

This has been taken from the EP Sport-back with vengeance page.

"We have seen a lot of MP players cleared to Adelaide prior to season commencing, only to have them cleared back during the year. My gut feel is that MP think they will be alright this year, so there will be immense pressure placed on (probably already) Wes to remain and be part of it."

Any thoughts on this FM, they are very confident Wes will stay at Malle Park, one of the guys posting met with him a couple of hours ago

My brother in law plays at Willunga, he's telling me they have been using those GPS tracking devices throughout preseason on there midfield group. This is very cutting edge for country football i believe ,(though word has it Portlocks is still in demo mode).

Who is ur Brother-in-law Micky?

The best thing about the GPS Tracking systems weve got is they not only count distance travelled but possessions, effective and ineffective, U turns, missed 1st gives, hair colour and tumble punts.

A couple of players are not enjoying the stats these things provide the coaching staff and im sure a couple of players are heading for early back pocket-hood.

Down at Goolwa tomorrow night we will be introducing witches hats for the first time, showing that Willunga are not the only club leading the way with technology.
