clarify country footy... SANFL, PLFL, GFFL????????

"Country" as in PLFL, GFFL, EEFL...

And BTB, I play because I enjoy it, for fun...
At the end of the day, a premiership would be nice, but I'm not fussed if I don't win one... ever.

sas, can guarantee it means a great deal to your club.Footy should be enjoyable, but if winning didn't matter they wouldn't keep score.

Must say congrats to CCC & WCC for the cricket their colts sides played on the weekend.

20 wickets fell for 450 runs over saturady and sunday morning. 50 overs each.

Great to watch, played in great spirits. Heaps of big hitting and some decent bowling.

Charlton lost by about 50 runs which was because their fielding not up to Waybacks standard.

I heard Scooter Siviour made 98 for SES B's. I think that's about the 3rd time someone has got out on 98 (LincolnMagpie, Rick Myers & Scooter) with two getting 99's (Pete & Charlie Doudle).

Still leaves only one player to have tonned up for SES's B's......
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

I saw on here a while back that Ryan Morris had signed with Lincoln South, is this still the case? Has he been training with them or was it all just rumours?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

I hear an interesting topic was going to be brought up tonight at the plca cricket meeting. it seems our president has committed plca funds towards the centenary grandstand project without consulting with the delegates. Have you heard any of this bystander or eags? from what i heard it was also going to be discussed that maybe the 20/20 finals to be played at centenary next year......could be a good move after eags stated earlier "best pitch hes ever played on"!

For next year i would propose changes to the plca program which would include a longer challenge cup program, more 20/20 matches through the year for points and less 50 over matches, all clubs to play equal matches on the turf and all finals played on centenary, 1st week of finals on both saturday and sunday. Oh and to play less games at wangary! lol \:D/
