In other news, Fitzroy get the chance to defend their A grade title against Para Vista next week.
Fitzroy beat Norwood-Morialta (?- I know that's where the game was played...) by 2 wickets.

there's no place in cricket for any aggressive/physical contact.
even direct abuse is a no-no.
comment that a batsman has a very limited range of shots/luck to still be in/read the instructions on the bat, or tell the bowler that he's a great one for increasing your average/wonder how the captain could give him the ball etc, but making derogatory personal comments or swearing at the batsman/bowler is off limits.

Sportsmanship is an integral part of cricket, & it's up to us players to carry this tradition through to the next generation.

If the games are called off due to heat policy does the top team win?. Is it a one dayer this week played under 1 day rules in relation to overs bowled per player?

Heat is the same rules as rain in most comps for finals.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
