The weeeeeeeedd was a very keen observer last night.

Good numbers out for SMOSH with 60 odd hitting the track last night, and ten or so on the sidelines!

Not having been out there much due to cricket, things are looking promising for the Mighty Lions. Many familiar faces showing the faces in the latter stages of pre season!

ANy more ladder predicitons from the punters at this time?

Things seem to have gone all quiet on the uni front - any news form them or SHOCS?

And are pembroke going to be competitive this year?

Uni will be very very strong
SHOCs will be competitive, have lost a fair few though with a number going overseas or SANFL, think about 8 A graders. Have picked up a couple of quality recruits and have good depth from last year.

I cant see a weak side this year in Div 2.

uni will have the nucleus of last year's side from div 1 with a few additions but with a few out at various league clubs at the moment. they'll be young and enthusiuatic.
having been out to a few trainings i can say that numbers this year are at least double that of last year at the same time; about 70+ in the a and b's compared to 25-30 last year.
reckon that uni should at least make the 5 and, as history as shown, anything can happen from there.
uni are having trials against melbourne uni, rostrevor and broadview.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

Uni to walk back into div 1, you aren't in SAAFL div 1 for 101 straight years by accident.......

Mt Lofty over Edwardstown in the 20/20 comp?

Anyone surprised by this?

Looks like they're going at it again for the $$$ this friday night.

Were Townies understrengthed? Lofty had a fair few more opportunities. I believe they will have 3 or 4 first choice players back this week.

Should be good for a look!

Henley being lucky to stay up is a truer statement that Uni being unlucky to come down.

Uni were bad last year. They were relegated. Nothing unlucky about that.

Henley were also bad. They had a couple of good wins toward the end of the season. They stayed up. THAT'S Lucky....

Uni definately the team to beat rest of the comp very similar few recruits each and the college sides are always capable on the day. Should be a tightly contested div 2 this year. Doubt the teams coming up will feature come finals time even with recruits the standard is alot higher than div 3
