No, he's just not good enough at the moment. A red cap doesn't make you a cricketer you are not. McGain the better bet at the moment.

Whats wrong with McGain?

Doherty - not even close to consideration.
Hauritz - couldnt consistantly get any sideways movement on the ball even if the pitch was on a 45 degree slope.
Cullen - shouldn't be in the Redbacks team, let alone the national team.

McGain deserves his chance if he gets it. Had a very good season.


Probably would've thrown Beau Casson in as my next roughie, and now look at the baggygreen web page...
