Yes, thought it had a bit of AW, PN & DW about it, just to mention a few!!!
Terrible if a couple of "key" batsmen get fired this weekend.

explain these port lincoln footy "polotics" for me please HS i'm interested....

My mate tells me he will play where the work is with keith therefore HS your social outings failed to attract his attention and working on snodgrass's farm didn't obviously appeal to him albeit a might fine offer one would think! 8)

wcp your reckless and immature comment on hs has been noted by oneself, everyone on here is entitled to have their say and their own opinion, whether you agree or not, identity or no identity. Lift your game!

anyway back to the cricket.....i think its good that cricketing honours are getting shared around in tumby this year. the dig in the paper was a bit low though although i hear it was quite funny, i wouldn't put that past a particular jeweller.

eags now that the minor round is finished do you know who the leading run and wicket takers were over there for the a's and b's?

Can people post teams on here for the wend and any comments.

Would say that Orch probably finished top of the runs with Reidy and Greasy up there too. Think Donga probably finished top with wickets. Not too sure about the B's. Ben Price and Rick Kavanagh would probably be up there with wickets from SES.

There is a common theme in all country footy and the best policy of recruiting is finding jobs. KC's workers play for Souths, Keith's for Tasmans, Willo gets a bloke a job down the silos they play for Bostons. If they wanted to play elsewhere then that's fine, get another job and those employers would offer the job to a footballer who was prepared to play for the club they sponsor and support.

Cashy wasn't going to give Clayton Millard a job and have him play for Rangers. Nope, he signed a clearance immediately to Waybacks.

Johan gets a job with Milts, signs a clearance to Tasmans.

Tom Edmonds returned home years ago and worked for KC, you can guess where he played....

Zoomer gives blokes jobs on the oysters who are Rangers or will be after they start work. Exception was Boags who must simply be an exceptional employee!! :D

It's not PL politics HS, it's the way it works all over the country

He is such a gentle placid person too, takes a lot to wind him up..
Very disapointing for owners to have a race deleted. Only 5 noms, so must have had one or two fall by the wayside.
Similar with the open sprint on Thursday...will run with 5 but not with 4...BJ may be denied his chance at history.

Who wants to have a crack at the 2008 ladder? Who will be the front runners? Will tassies be contenders this year? They have kept tonks and campbell and killa is supposedly on his way back for the season.

Marble Range - will almost need a miracle for them not to go back to back.
Mallee Park - just always around the mark
Waybacks - Big losses in Dunc, TK, & Horgs but have Minya, Millard & Schuppan to return.
Bostons - Recruited soundly with only a couple of major losses.
Tasmans - Couple of younger ins but did have a solid group in 2007. Could improve
Souths - loss of Crouch is major. Dunn is a good in but they were a fair way off in 2007.

Really have no idea obviously, but give the trolls something to talk about I suppose....

Spoke to JJ yesterday and MP are expecting to be big improvers this year. Been training for 4 weeks under coach David Dudley with Blot Davey as fitness coach. Getting high 20's on the track and have kept the kids from last year. Jason B., Mooney, Joel T all back (Wes to stay) plus a couple of others back. Have also got one of the leading u/21's from the NTFL suiting up this year....

Haven't heard except that MP never really expected to lose him. Is probably far easier to sign him than to get him to play...

Wes' clearance was only refused as he was not financial at Malle Park, Encounter Bay have now paid his overdue subs and he should be cleared shortly.

Sounds like he could be a doubtful starter over in the GSFL then, and may stay in PL.
