I think the games will be most likely on Ten HD which they are also putting on a lot of other sport which is not normally shown e.g. Nascar, NBL, footy replays etc

Do any of those sides have colours, or a logo or anything?
I was originally going to support Hyderabad after seeing their list, but it looks like everyone else is going to support them, I don't want to follow them anymore. Not unless their colours are double blue and they go by the name of Hyderabad Blues!
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Lou Vincent announced 3 weeks ago he was suffering from depression and has been for quite some time.

3 weeks later he has joined up and signed for the ICL tournament and NZ have terminated his contract just like they did to Shane Bond. This tournament is certainly weakening New Zealand cricket and this is the problem that REB was speaking about.

I haven't found any other names yet.

Heard it all now, Tony (i am an idiot) Greig reckons that going to play in this comp is no different than going over and playing county cricket in the off season in England, the man is an absolute idiot, like cricketers really retire from 1st class cricket world wide to go and play County Cricket

My friend.

What do you do for a living...?

Someone offers you 10 times what you earn in a season.

For 3 years. (thats 30 years)

Maybe we pick up the tax on that...?

You would stay faithful to your current employer...?

You might have taken it out of context a little as well, Ian Healy was saying that it has created tension within the Sri Lankan (And Australia) dressing rooms which was purely a guess IMO. Tony rightly corrected him and said it is no different than when say Kumar plays county cricket for X amount while Dilshan does not play for anyone because they dont want him, and what Tony was saying is that that does not create tension so why would the IPL.

And they were talking about IPL not ICL (Which is what the players have been retiring for)

I have been with my employer now for 30 years, I am on nearly 100 grand a year, I pick and choose the days and times I work, as long as I do my 40 hours a week, I retire from that job in 5 months and then go to part time work 3 days a week, with another company quite simple really, I cannot improve myself in what I do workwise, take a look at some of the guys playing in this comp, oh day 1 do a hammy, get the full benefits, and not play another game sorry people that aint me, give this project 2 seasons and world cricket will be in more turmoil than when WSC started. And yes as for staying loyal to my current employed, only 18 months ago, I got offered the same amount of money for less hours by another company, yes I knocked it back, one day people in this world will realise that money does not solve all problems, family unity and happiness does

There is another auction in a couple of days with 13 other players being auctioned off.

They are

M.Yousuf, M. Ul Haq (Brilliant 20/20 player), M. Hafeez.
A. Prince
R. Taylor, P. Fulton, J. How, J. Patel, C. Martin, K. Mills, J. Franklin
B. Hodge, J. Hopes, L. Pomersbach and S. Watson
P. Jayawardene
M. Mortaza, M. Ashraful.

13 others have shown interest in playing but will not be on the auction list.

S. Marsh, B. Hogg, S. Tait, A. Voges, M. Lewis, D. Lehmann, A. Wise, A. Blizzard, A. Crosthwaite, G. Bodi, Y. Hameed, K. Powell and D. Smith.

No where near as much interest in this one and the money will be much lighter as teams have to worry about salary caps.

Amazed to see Tait put his hand up to play in this sort of comp given his recent problems. Makes me wonder.

Their opponents did though, When Kyle Mills and Chris Martin are running through sides you know you are in a bad way.
