Tasmans have picked up promising Ranger Johan Wagner after getting him a sparky apprenticeship with Milts. Bostons have also picked up Ben Herangi from Rangers u/17's. Problem with having so much depth and a good side is these inevitable losses from lack of opportunity.

Here fishy fishy. Bang got me.
Panther, please tell me how we did not give Yoey and Ben an opportunity.

Ben was always a chance to go somewhere even tho i believe he enjoyed his coupla years at Wangary since joining us from Waybacks. He played in U 17's last 2 years and did reasonably well. An athlete not blessed with the best skills but nevertheless, pretty handy with his size helping and may well blosson into a very good A grader. His younger brother moved to Bostons from Waybacks during the 07 season and that together with living in town and not a long term Ranger, I'm not surprised, altho a tad disappointed. Played some B grade last year altho not quite up to cracking the A's
Got on well with him as everybody else did from what I know. Good luck to him.

Losing Johann on the other hand is a huge disappointement. Very understandable given the job opportunity which must come ahead of footy, but neverthless very sad. Currently in the PAMFC academy and has a good future. Given several OPPORTUNITIES last year in the A's and did not disappoint and would have been a regular A grader this year IMHO.
Long term Ranger and his move may well mean his younger brother goes to.
Would have to say the job was the only reason for the move and clearly not from a lack of opportunity or the promise of the future, which was high. Had of we been able to find him a job, I'd bet there would be no thought of going to TFC. Good kid to boot.

Wasn't fishing Steigs and my comment on lack of opportunity was more a generalisation on what can happen when a club is very successful and has a lot of depth. Was probably more suited to Ben's reasons but I don't know his full story either. Caught out making a broad assumption, my apologies....

I think you'll find the job wasn't the only reason for Johan's move either. A little incident last year between coach and player that resulted in incident between coach and father.....

We spent to much last year on recruiting and have very little to offer currently besides the support of our members who can offer employment. Well done to the Milts boys! with another big signing to come by next week.

No probs WCP. As for the last bit I can't recall anything but then again I often walk around with my head in the air.
When all is said and done and putting on the assoc. cap, looking at the broader picture etc, Tasmans sure could do with him. Still hurts tho.

Unless Neil Diamond or Kylie are on the program he wouldn't be interested.

Was very kind how the organisers waited for Tasmans to finish their training before trying to arrange the photo. Who's running it, the community or the TFC???.. :?

Very happy not to be a drug and alcohol friendly club...

hahaha, pass me the gaff... i thought that would get a bite... i didnt really bother me i was up in the plane taking the pics!!! im sure TRR was heavily involved in 50 sets of 100 mtr spints or something!
i know how alchahol and drug free waybacks are
tassise mustn train long, phoho was ment to be taken about 6 45 , so they trained for 45 hey??? sounds like my sorta training!!

Heard ( as I think everyone else has) that D Bryant has the reins.
One LS man was a bit bemused that this info was out late last Friday arvo when DB was being interviewed for the job the same night.
Go round and take his picture AG and put it in the Times so everyone else knows.

Good luck to Judgie, great bloke and still one of the best kicks for goal at any level I have ever seen. Could hold his own with AFL stars at executing this skill....

And yeah will definitely agree with you Panther. You would go a long way to find anyone better than he including AFL.
There's a little quiz and one for the history buffs. Who is/was the best, most reliablly accurate kick for goal (besides DB). One thing for sure it weren't me. On one of my better days I kicked 1 goal 9. My opponent on the wing kicked 4 straight. Got the checking drill pummelled into me by the coach that day.
Anyway back to the quiz. How about Tim Evans to kickstart things.
