I wont bother with any selections either.

UNITAB scatchings for GDP were in at 9-26 today

UNITAB has changed the treble legs AGAIN
Todays treble is on races 345

Not only did they change the treble legs form the usual 2-3-4 to 3-4-5
they also could not place the right reinsman on the winner of the last leg 50 gorillas [race5]

In answer to your question on Driver weight see the following-

http://www.rjwalsh.com.au/i_weight&balance.htm

Although this is advertising regal sulkies the work behind it seems sound and concludes that driver weight makes a difference but not enough to be noticed given everything else.

As for the new id format- i hate it. I've got lots of reasons for my dislike but won't go on because i'd probably blowup my keyboard with my angry typing!!

Mal as usual most of your gripes are valid and well noted in fact i thought you let HRSA off in not mentioning that Star Legacy was put out of the draw at Mildura on TUESDAY yet 2 days later was drawn into barrier 2 for Monday at GD. At least the fact it was to start from 6 was well covered in both the print and electronic media. But give us a spell on the treble. Monday trebles have been on 3 4 5 since the days when Hanson Rd was best known as aplace where u could get a fight (Finsbury) and a feed (Hanson Pizza Bar}. Of course it is now best known for how readily available is the other!
