Rugby League World Club Championship

Postby Wedgie » Tue Feb 26, 2008 5:39 pm

Will the English team keep their dominace of this comp going?
Hope so being a Leeds Rhinos fan for over a decade now!

Its being played at Elland Rd so they must be expecting a bigger crowd then usual as they normally play at Headingly.
Shame as the Headingly atmosphere is second to none.

Early Saturday morning our time, now if I can just find somewhere in Canberra open at that time! :(

World Club Championship? :?
Did I miss the Chinese,Russian,Indian,the US,Brazilian,French,Italian,Japanese,
Spanish,Irish teams getting knocked out in the first round?
Really, how do Rugby League people get away with labelling competitions like this
'World'?
Third in pecking order in GB (and mainly confined to two counties), Second in two countries
of only 21 million and three million people respectively and they have the gall to call it a
'World' Club Challenge?!
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy League, but this rubbish cannot go unchallenged.

BTW, Go Storm.
24-12 Final score
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

The big leagues clubs are open 24/7.

Like the Labor Club (Belconnen) and Wests (Jamison).

The Casino (Civic) should be open, too...
Everyone can eat s#!t! A big bag of s#!t! I'm the greatest man in the world!

Wouldn't be much of a contest mate if they were playing Rugby League.

What if my Auntie had balls?

I would be in a dilemma if the Raiders played the Rhinos though, probably go for the Rhinos still.

How about the Americans? The Giants win an American Football match and they become champs. Then the winner of the world series of baseball from MLB and then there's the basketball.
